Review Time
At the beginning of this year January 2026 I have attended the Skipton building society in Harrow to open a savings account but the staff member Mr Kieron was so critical and unhelpful by getting the head office over in Manchester involved and he had several left voice mail messages that was unnecessary and intimadating messages of the request for statuary checks before I can open my savings account. And all I was trying to do is to open a normal savings account. Moreover I already had an account with Chelsea building society.
My partner and I came in to open two ISA accounts, one fixed rate for me and an easy access for her. We ended up with an easy access account for me and a fixed rate for her, which was confusing. I didn't appreciate the constant push for various insurance products. Additionally, I was put off by the request to leave a positive review, which might have happened if our accounts hadn't been mixed up.
