I stopped using greenpal in 2018 because they were unreliable and their customer service would never respond. They would double charge customers, then charge me fees for both transactions. when the customer disputes the double charge greenpal would deduct the total amount from my account and keep there fee and not reimburse me. Now fast forward to this week. I use yardooks for all my invoicing and estimates. When I tried to charge customer cards saved on file and was coming accross an issue. When I reached out to yardbooks they informed me that greenpal deleted customer info off of stripe and that they had numerous complaints about this from other contractors. I reached out to stripe and found out that on November 7th greenpal deleted over 200 of my customers saved info. None of which were affiliated with greenpal. When I reached out on the fb page they blocked me. I tried calling the 800 number numerous times and left meassages but they never answered or returned my calls.
Due to their u authorized action I now have to spend many hours reaching out to all my customers and explain to them why they have to reenter their card info and that its safe to do so.
I had one vender leave suddenly. I talked to this one shortly after I hired Halocene and she said they would be available for other stuff but they don't do Vancouver area. I still had her number so I texted. Glad I did. Turns out she knew the house, remembered the family etc. Without a flinch they took the job! Did a great job. Im so very thankful for their service looking forward to future with them.
