I recently had a stem cell procedure at R3 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and the entire experience was outstanding. From the beginning, Mark and Anna ensured I fully understood the procedure and helped coordinate all pre-, during-, and post-visit logistics. They made both me and my spouse feel completely welcome and were always available to answer questions—something especially reassuring when having a medical procedure outside your home country.
Nestor, my driver, was professional and kind, making the early morning trip stress-free (and even stopping at Starbucks for me). At the clinic, Rocio, our nurse, greeted us warmly and made the preparation process incredibly comfortable. She was gentle and skilled—no pain with blood draws or IVs—and maintained a calm, reassuring presence throughout.
Dr. Emad took the time to thoroughly explain the clinic and procedure, putting us completely at ease. Dr. Paul Tellez performed the injections with great expertise and confidence, carefully walking me through each step to minimize discomfort and anxiety. His clear post-procedure instructions further reinforced that I was in excellent hands.

Diagnosed with Stage IV prostate cancer with bone metastases in April 2024. I was not interested in traditional treatments such as hormonereplacement therapy (HRT) or chemotherapy. Instead, I turned to alternative therapies, beginning with Rick Simpson Oil and naturopathic supplements. Over the next year and a half, I added Ivermectin, Fenbendazole, Vitamin B17, Artemisinin, turmeric, and several others. My bloodwork has shown concerning trends: continually rising PSA levels, a declining red blood cell count, and a low Absolute Lymphocyte Count (ALC). I came across research by Dr. Soon-Shiong highlighting that a prolonged ALC below 1000 can shorten lifespan. Reviewing my own results, mine had been under 1000 for several months. I reached out to a supportive relative and shared my data. He suggested I look into ZignaGenix, a company specializing in stem cells and Natural Killer (NK) cells. After researching their work, I felt this could be the right path for me. NK Cells are designed to strengthen the immune system by boosting white blood cell counts and targeting diseased cells—without harming healthy ones. After deciding to move forward, we flew to San Diego and stayed in an Airbnb for the week. (Pro tip: ask Ryland for help with accommodations—he makes it much easier.) I purchased the NK Cells package, excluding stem cells—300 million cells over five days, Monday through Friday. Initially, I was uneasy about traveling to Tijuana or staying overnight there, but by Friday, we decided to stay there because it was simply more convenient. We stayed at Hotel Real del Río, which was fantastic! The breakfast buffet was far fromtypical—street tacos, beef roast, pork roast, roasted chicken, birria, ceviche, fresh juices,eggs, omelets, and much more. Mauricio, our shuttle driver, made a remarkable impression from day one. He wasn’t just a driver—he was an ambassador for ZignaGenix. Each morning, he greeted us with a genuine smile, enthusiasm, and positivity that set the tone for the day. His knowledge of the area, from San Diego to Tijuana, and his insights into local culture,geography, food, and bilingualism were incredible. Mauricio went above and beyond his role, making us feel safe, informed, and welcomed at every step. His kindness and professionalism transformed what could have been a stressful experience into onefilled with comfort, trust, and laughter. During treatment, his bedside manner was beyondcompare—genuine, compassionate, and calming. In a moment of gratitude, I told him I lovedhim. Without hesitation, he smiled and said he loved me too. It was a simple but unforgettablegesture of humanity.• CEO Carlos Ituarte was an unexpected delight—dynamic, humorous, engaging, andgenuinely connected with every patient he met. Every single person at ZignaGenix went above and beyond to accommodate the patients’needs. Their philosophy seems to be summed up in one word: “Yes.” I began the week anxious about being in Tijuana and ended it impressed, grateful, and eagerto return – both to ZignaGenix and the Hotel Real del Río. (I’m still thinking about thatbreakfast buffet!). Next time, I’ll make sure to take advantage of their massages, too. As for the treatments themselves, everything went smoothly. I experienced mild eveninginflammation, but it was unclear whether that was due to diet, activity, or the therapy itself.Otherwise, I had no complications. I plan to have my blood work rechecked in about a month, which will determine my next steps. I'll update this review.
You can't go wrong you're getting your treatment here. Everything is top drawer. The shuttle service from San Diego made things super easy and we got there we were greeted by friendly staff with all kinds of food and you could make your custom food order for breakfast or lunch. The doctors were very attentive and highly professional.

From airport arrival to departure, care was taken to help navigate us from place to place including friendly contacts by text and phone. The Clinic is so beautiful with staff who greet you at the door. The Doctor answered all questions and explained the process all along. He and the staff worked well together. It's too early to report results, but I'm optimistic they will be beneficial. I was in a pedestrian vs car accident 8 months ago still recovering from left arm and hip fractures. Be advised: plan to take time to recover gently. They will tell you more.
Ryland Dunne was the Zignagenix representative that provided answers to my questions. He was informative and educated about stem cell therapy. Marice the Company driver picked me up at the airpor and took me straight thru to Tijuana Zignagenix clinic. There I was recieved by Karen Office mgr then the nurse drew blood. I met Dr Ochoa very informative and professional he started IV treatment . Later Dr San Miguel injected the stem cells in my spine it was nearly pain less. After that Maurice the driver took me back to SanDiego Wyndham Hotel for the night. The next day Maurice the driver like a trusted friend dropped me off at the airport for the flight back. Summary I was apprehensive at first but as I went thru the process everything was as Ryland had promised. The stem cell therapy has worked for me with amazingly good results. I give them 5 stars. I went on August 3 to have stem cells done. Being a single woman, I was extremely scared. I had spoken with Ana who took all my medical information, etc. I had so many concerns about crossing the border and it being safe. Their driver had picked me up San Diego airport and I spent first night in San Diego. The next morning, the driver pick me up at the hotel And we went to Tijuana Mexico. Crossing over was nothing wasn’t asked for ID. Nothing we just drove through. After I had received treatment, the driver had taken me back to the San Diego airport. The driver informed us he had a medical pass that they had paid for and so much per person going thru customs.. All we did was show our passport or ID to the border patrol said thank you and that was it. We did stand in line to leave about 10 minutes. We were not searched. We were not hassled in anyway. I felt more safe than being in my hometown. I hope this helps someone that has the fear of going over there. My whole trip, hotel stay back-and-forth to have Stem Cell, Everything was extremely safe.
