Recently had a technician visit to address a strong odor from the upstairs toilet. The engineer identified that the problem was related to the stack, not the toilet itself. Instead of charging me for extensive jetting services previously quoted, he offered a solution from outside. Remarkably, the issue was resolved in just one hour. I was pleased with the £180 charge since the smell is gone and there was no mess left behind.
I cannot stress enough how untrustworthy this service is. I invited them to my home for a bad odor in my downstairs toilet and paid £150 + VAT for a camera inspection. I was advised that extensive scaling was necessary at a cost of £1200 + VAT! After consulting a local plumber, I discovered the odor was due to a damaged sink trap, costing only £98 to fix. I was shocked by their dishonesty and when I requested them to return and properly replace my manhole cover, the technician suggested additional jetting. Avoid at all costs!
