Concerns About Vehicle Purchase Process

I bought a vehicle on 12/9/2025 from this service. Today (January 6, 2026), I reached out because I haven't received the titling documents or a key for the vehicle. It's currently parked on the street in North Carolina where it was delivered. The car is locked, and I can't access it without a key. A representative mentioned she would need to check with the main office to see if they received the paperwork from the auction house. If they did, I should be notified by the end of this week or next week. If not, I'm unsure when I'll be able to use my car. If the situation doesn't improve, I may have to leave a one-star review. While I’m not outright warning against this company yet, I recommend that buyers clarify details and timelines for receiving their vehicles. Personally, I find this approach to business quite unfair.

What an inconvenience to a customer

I purchased a vehicle on 12/9/2025 from this company. Today (January 6, 2026) I called the company because I have not received titling papers nor a key to the vehicle. The car is sitting on the street in North Carolina where I had it delivered. It's a Tesla. It is locked and cannot be opened without a key. A representative stated she would have to check with the home office to see if they had received papers from the auction house. If so, I should receive notification by the end of the week or next week. If not, I don't know when I will be able to use my car. If not, a new review with a one star will be forthcoming. I am not saying beware of doing business with this company as of yet, but I am suggesting a buyer to get specific details and time limits on receiving a vehicle. Personally, I don't think it is a fair way of conducting business

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE — DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

The car was advertised as having minor damage, but that was completely false. I relied on their auction listing, their EPICVIN report, and their overpriced transport service, and every single one of them turned out to be misleading. The vehicle delivered was a total junk, nothing like what was advertised. The VIN report they provided was useless and failed to show publicly available information about the car’s real condition. To make matters worse, the transporter brought the car anyway—causing even more damage to the gear—and refused to communicate properly. I repeatedly asked for his phone number so he could describe the actual damage before delivery. He never provided it, and he was the only person who could have prevented this disaster.Avoid this company at all costs.

BAD PICTURES DON'T SHOW THE REALITY

The pictures in the auction are not clear nor precise.I just bought a truck and from the fir impression the truck in the pictures looked good without damage but when I received the truck I could realize that the truck has body damages and dents all around something that wasn't shown in the pictures. This company should to take more precise and accurate pictures specially from the damages of the car and also express in the characteristics if there's something wrong with the vehicle like if the a/c or heater are working or not, if has the engine light on or any other lights on on the dashboard, if windows and sunroof is working, etc, etc I other words notify the customer all the things that are impossible to know with just some pictures which aren't even clear to sight.Talking about the customer service, was awesome they always help me answering all my questions on manner and time.

Worst experience ever

Oh God no, The worst vehicle buying experience of my lifeI purchased a vehicle through A Better Bid and the entire experience has been extremely stressful. The truck I received was not as advertised and when I tried to follow their buyback/refund process, the company repeatedly refused to send the refund before pickup. I have documentation of dozens of emails asking for standard proof of payment (FedWire trace or IMAD number) before I release my property.Instead, they continued to demand that I sign away my rights and release the vehicle first with no verified payment. I was told many conflicting things over several days, and the refund process kept changing. At this point I have had to involve my state Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division for assistance because I could not get clear or consistent answers from their team. This has been an exhausting process and I would strongly recommend anyone reading this to research very carefully before using this company.Edit one: is this before or after Ms Eves response ofHello! The management reviewed your case once again. You can skip signing the agreement. However, the vehicle must be delivered to the location first and the yard must confirm the vehicle is received and is in the same condition. After having a confirmation, we can initiate wire transfer.EveA Better Bid?Thank you for your response. However, your own statement confirms that you are conditioning a refund on surrender of property before payment is issued or verified. That practice directly contradicts standard consumer protection and refund procedures required under U.S. commerce and contract law. This matter remains under active review with the Missouri Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division. Have a great dayRespectfully.
