On 01/07/2026, I purchased a Kawasaki Ultra 160 Jet Ski from RideNow in Decatur TX. Seth Miller was my sales rep, who was very nice to me at the time of purchase. The Jet Ski seat had a couple of holes in it at the time of purchase and Mr. Miller informed me that he order the seat and it would come to the store in Decatur, and he would call me when it arrives. Mr. Miller did let me keep the Jet Ski in the store in Decatur, until I was ready to pick it up, I said great. Mr. Miller also told me, to call or text him if I need anything or to check on the status of the seat he ordered and my registration for the Ski as well. I said perfect. Some weeks went by and I texted Mr. Miller if he knew the status of the seat? He informed me he would check on it, and the registration, and let me know. I never heard back from Mr. Miller after a couple of weeks. Mr. Miller called me around the end of January and asked, if I could come get the Ski because he needed the room for a mechanic’s toolbox. I said sure. The next day I went to RideNow and picked up the Ski. So, while I was there, I asked when he thought the seat was coming in? Mr. Miller said it was still on order. I said ok, just call me and I’ll come get it. Well, weeks went by and have not heard anything from Mr. Miller or RideNow. On February 16th I had texted Mr. Miller around noon time, if had any update about the seat or the registration? I was shock at his response I got from Mr. Miller! He texted me back and said, (what is it that you do not understand or comprehend or you just don’t know what I am explaining here to you). Mr. Miller cont. (I told you I don’t handed the parts or the registration and stated to me that he would not be helping me anymore about this issue). I was in complete shock that this sales rep (Miller), from RideNow. I thought Wow! Mr. Miller just basically, not to bug him. It was hateful text and degrading text. I thought Mr. Miller, and I had good working salesperson to customer relationship. It seemed to me, I guess Mr. Miller just wanted the sale and take my money, and the hell with me about my seat and registration. I really thought RideNow sale personnel were a lot better then that. To think I was going back up to Decatur to purchase an RZR form this guy. I would not and will not do business nor recommend anyone to go buy from RideNow in Decatur TX, because of some sale rep that has no set skills on how to talk to a value customer. Maybe the manager, Mr. Tripp, the manager for that location would recommend counseling to Mr. Miller in customer relations, because this guy has no business representing RideNow! Well not in sales I am a retired Vet of 22 years and retire police office. I also own a business, and I have 5 employees that work for me, if one of my employees talked or text to one of my customers like Mr. Miller did to me, they would not last long. If Mr. Miller just said, Sir, let me check with parts dept and the registration and Ill have them call you back the next day, I would have been fine with that. Look, I spent over $20000 at RideNow at the Decatur location, but never in my life, some sale person talk to me like that. It really takes a lot for anyone to get under my skin, however Mr. Miller got under my skin, and for what? A part that he ordered. Really? I really hope Mr. Tripp can get this matter cleared up. The parts dept there at the Decatur location was very helpful toward me.
Here’s the sequence of events:
1. I brought the 4 wheeler in for diagnosis.
2. Your service team called and told me the issue was the batteries and that new ones needed to be ordered.
3. I was quoted a little over $400, and I clearly said that was about the maximum I was willing to spend because the 4 wheeler itself wasn’t worth much more.
4. Months go by before I get a call saying the original quote was wrong — you actually needed double the number of batteries.
o My two options?
A) Pick up a non working 4 wheeler and still owe you $400+
B) Pay an additional $400+ to get it fixed
At that point, I was backed into a corner. My kids’ 4 wheeler still didn’t work, and I was being asked to pay double the original quote after your mistake. I still agreed and told you to order the additional batteries.
5. Then more time passes and I get another call:
o All the batteries are in, but the 4 wheeler still doesn’t work.
o Now it “might be XYZ,” and it’s another $150 to get it running.
o And if you don’t pay something today, you’re going to start incurring $20 a day storage fee
So, after multiple misquotes, delays, and unexpected charges, I’m being told this situation is just because I “didn’t like the outcome.”
Stay far away!

Found a (RN Tucson east) used bike I was interested in and received a previous internet "$12k offer" on my trade that seemed low. Was told to come in for a possible "adjustment". The salesman (young) seemed to be talking down to me with comments like "no brainer for you to do this" meaning swap the desired used bike for a newer version that was just reduced to $19k. It's black and gray just like your clothes. After holding on to my driver's license for an extended amount of time, he returned my license and then went MIA.A different sales person came over and introduced himself and waived the paper numbers around and started verbally listing all the additional charges. I could have a new bike out the door for $19.9k cash which also included giving up my trade for $9k. I don't think I will return to RN anyplace, anytime soon. I would rather take my chances with real people, real prices, real-time.
Like most others there isn't much to celebrate here. The price quoted, whether buying or selling, fluctuates always favoring the business. Even online when they compete to buy your used ride they leave themselves a way out (to rip you off even after they agree to pay "X" amount) by claiming the bike wasn't as pictured [or otherwise]. When they should inspect it before any offer, but why their "Clause" is designed to defeat contract law as well as the old Latin adage of Caveat Emptor, don't be fooled take down their offer and sell privately.
These guys are the absolute worst. (The company, management, etc.) Individual people are cool, but man- this was the absolute WORST buying experience. This company uses entirely deceptive selling practices, hidden costs and are ALL about making money- once the sale is done, you're NOTHING to them.
I was disappointed with my recent experience at RideNow Gainesville. I was quoted one price over the phone and by text, but when I arrived, the total had increased by about $5,000. The new amount wasn’t reviewed with me until I asked about it. I recommend double-checking all pricing details in writing before moving forward.
