I received a voucher for afternoon tea for two as a Christmas gift, which sounded delightful, but the closest location is 60 miles away. After checking the website, it seems there are hardly any options in my county. While there are many places in London, the cost of a train ticket makes it impractical. I spent a significant amount of time on the site and eventually emailed to ask about any nearby alternatives. Now, two weeks after the holidays, I still haven't received a response. How do I explain to the thoughtful friend who gifted this to me that her money might have been wasted?
I purchased an experience through the company, but then had to deal with another service that cancelled my booking on the day I was supposed to go. They promised to resolve the issue and provide me with a new date, but overall, with additional costs, I've spent £500 and have nothing to show for it.

A complete waste of time; I recommend avoiding this service.
Steer clear of this service; they are dishonest and unhelpful. After weeks of waiting for a response regarding my booking, I still haven't heard back. I had an original experience scheduled but was informed a day before that there was an issue, and I have received no communication since.
