Overall, the finding a good price for a crossing is very good. But I find it frustrating that, making a regular crossing, I have to keep inputting my details manually - even on one trip twice for the outward and return journeys. Also, the app doesn't seem to work. Having just made a booking it doesn't show up on the app. Finally, I hate dealing with Chatbots.
I couldn't identify any issues. From check-in at the reception to boarding, everything proceeded smoothly, and the staff were exceptionally accommodating. I asked about the dog kennels on board and was kindly shown where they are located and the areas dogs are allowed, which is crucial for me. The entire area was tidy, and there were many activities available on board. The sailing experience was seamless, and loading and unloading vehicles was remarkably quick. The staff were excellent throughout. While the food and beverages are a bit pricey, that is to be expected, and you have the option to bring your own if you wish. I would highly recommend this method of travel.
After spending hours emailing and attempting to confirm my booking, I was informed at the port that my booking had been cancelled. By whom? The service? They attempted to blame it on the ferry operator's technical issues. Sounds more like human error.
