Everything was well-planned and organized. The staff did a good job of making changed plans when a lock broke and halted the ship.I have one major recommendation. Try offering a different type of river trip where the ship spends two days at each stop, so the passengers can spend an evening in each place.
Everything was so well coordinated! The people from AHI were outstanding,so helpful, and understanding.I have nothing negative to say. However, I wish we had more time to spend in the gardens of Versailles. I would go again with AHI!
We had a great tour director who took care of all our needs for entry and exit visas, and kept us well-informed and happy the entire trip--Silvie! The tour exceeded my expectations for the entire area we covered, and it is one of the most memorable trips I've ever taken. Thanks for the opportunity to see what we saw, to go where we went, and to hear the history and current situations in countries I had never visited before.
The experiences, especially the day at the truffle farm was the best day! I literally cried tears of joy during the hunt and Coby, our travel director stood quietly with her arm on my back supporting me. The truffle tasting and learning the game of pétanque made the day perfect.
