I joined AlphaCamp in July 25 when I saw the results previous clients had achieved on Instagram. I started exchanging messages with Adz and everything he was saying resonated with me. At the time, I was 48 years old and following Covid I had let myself slide. Prior to covid, I would train 5 days a week, play 11 and 5 a side football weekly, ran countless half marathons and full marathons. I was in good shape and happy with my physical appearance. That all changed post Covid and no matter how hard I tried to get back into shape it just wasn't working. I need guidance. I needed accountability! That's where Adz and AlphaCamp came in. We had a detailed discussion where Adz deep dived into my goals, habits and general lifestyle. Following which Adz devised a plan which was bespoke to me. I have a home gym so he devised a training plan that I could adopt with the equipment I have. He also devised a nutrition plan which was also bespoke to my eating habits and tastes. Once I started on the plan, I would check in with Adz every day to keep him updated on my progress. He was always quick to respond and provided the right level of motivation, but more importantly he gave me what I needed the most - accountability. I would also send him training videos and he would make suggestions to improve my form to get the most out of the workouts.The results were better than I ever could have expected. In just five months I lost 15.2kg in weight and 15cm off my midsection. I saw my abs for the first time in a very long time!Where am I now? Well I am still with AlphaCamp as I enter the next phase which is reserve dieting and finding my maintenance calories. I have also signed up for my first ever Hyrox event in May and Adz is helping me train for this event. I have the national three peaks in July and I am thinking about running half marathons and playing football again. We are going on holiday later this month and for the first time in a long time, I will feel confident taking my top off at the beach or by the pool.
