The driver insisted we give the trip a 5-star rating on the way back, which explains the inflated ratings on the platform. (He became quite angry when we initially refused, leaving us feeling pressured). We took a 3-day trip to Merzouga. Overall, the trip was enjoyable, but we encountered several additional charges beyond what we had already paid. If you're expecting a budget-friendly trip, be prepared for extra costs. You'll be traveling with around 40 others, making meals and activities feel rushed and stressful due to the repetitive nature. The restaurant staff were quite pushy, making dining experiences uncomfortable.
The day in Ouzoud was the highlight of our visit, as I had been there before with other providers. This service was disappointing and cost me clients. I booked a trip for 08:30 with hotel pick-up, but they messaged the day before asking us to be ready at 08:10 and to arrive 5 minutes early, which I accepted. Previously, the guide always met us in the lobby, but this time no one showed up. I was waiting at the hotel by 07:55, and one of my clients was in the lobby 10 minutes before that. We waited 30 minutes with no sign of our transport. The hotel attempted to call, but no one answered, and when I finally reached out, the representative hung up on me multiple times. They later claimed they made a mistake with our booking. This was the biggest disappointment of the year. They were rude and did not honor what we had paid for, potentially costing me clients. Fortunately, I booked another trip that, while not perfect, at least had a guide show up.
This travel agency offers friendly and excellent services. The driver was entertaining and attentive. I have no complaints about him and highly recommend taking a tour with this agency. Additionally, the guide was knowledgeable and multilingual, making the experience enjoyable and fun. Morocco is truly a must-visit destination.
I am deeply disappointed by our experience on the waterfall tour. While the waterfall was stunning and the local guide was great, the bus ride ruined our day. We were seated near a loud group, making it impossible to relax. When I expressed my discomfort to the guide, instead of addressing the noise, he played loud music, which felt dismissive. Other passengers seemed uncomfortable too, but likely didn’t speak up. When we reached out to customer service, their response was dismissive, highlighting their lack of concern for guest wellbeing. I wouldn't recommend this experience to anyone who values respect and professionalism.
The experience was extremely disappointing, especially due to the driver assigned for pick-up and drop-off. He was rude and unprofessional throughout the journey. The language barrier made communication even more difficult. For such a long trip, one would expect a courteous and professional driver, but that was not the case.
We had a wonderful time visiting the Ouzoud waterfalls. Our guide was fantastic, checking in on everyone and sharing interesting information about the waterfalls and Berber culture. 5 stars for him! The only downside was that we never received a pick-up time, which led to some confusion that was eventually resolved through the platform's customer service.
