This company doesn't even deserve a single star. They have increased their management fees by £4000 over two years without any consultation or reason. It's like they are running a cartel. I strongly recommend anyone seeing this company managing properties to steer clear for the sake of their mental well-being. Unregulated private estates like mine are being exploited, and it's appalling.
As a new homeowner under a leasehold agreement, my experience with the management has been disappointing. They are very slow to respond to messages. My service charge has been assigned to the previous owner, and the lift has been out of order for months since I moved in. The customer service is appalling, and they continue to raise rates without proper justification. I would be okay with the increases if the service was satisfactory.
If I could give half a star, I would. The managing agent is completely unhelpful. It takes ages to reach someone, and when you do, they lack knowledge. They promise callbacks from the 'manager,' but I've yet to receive one despite multiple promises. I was left on hold for 43 minutes only to find out I couldn't leave a message because the mailbox was full. They even sent an email with urgent information but expect a response on the same day without considering my time. There are many other issues, and they seem to avoid phone calls, preferring to hide behind emails. Our communal services are poor, yet they are quick to refer my account to collection despite regular payments I make. It's frustrating, and I plan to take my business elsewhere. Avoid them if possible.
After reading reviews about the selling process and delays from the management, I was apprehensive about selling my flat. Unfortunately, I now feel compelled to write a review. We've already lost one buyer, and while the current buyer is still interested, it's disheartening that the process takes not just weeks but months. After paying the management fee for the necessary documents, there's been a long silence. I've filed a formal complaint in hopes of speeding things up, but the service has been disappointing so far. EDIT: The complaint is now with their team. If resolved promptly, I’ll consider removing this review.
Important: Leasehold management companies are legally obligated to comply with fire safety and health regulations in the buildings they manage. The responsible party typically must conduct fire risk assessments and ensure communal areas are safe. If there are issues, report them to local authorities or health and safety regulators. If complaints are ignored, escalate them to the Housing Ombudsman for resolution.
Avoid this company at all costs, whether you are a contractor or a homeowner. Contractors may face late payments or none at all. Homeowners will find poor management leading to costly repairs, and the company ignores inquiries while demanding large sums with little notice. They threaten legal action for unpaid fees, which is unacceptable.
I previously wrote a negative review about someone I thought was associated with the management. After speaking with a senior representative, I learned I was mistaken about their location. My issue has since been addressed, and I'm now satisfied with the resolution. Therefore, I'm retracting my earlier review.
