Review Time
While I see many positive reviews, my experience was not great. I waited for nearly the entire 2-hour window only to receive a call saying the technician couldn't make it on time (which I had suspected!). Why wasn't I informed sooner? This could have saved me from waiting and rearranging my schedule. Quite frustrating.
I noticed many positive reviews which led me to book a service. However, I waited for 1 hour and 55 minutes (almost the entire 2-hour window) before receiving a call that the technician wouldn't make it on time (which I had anticipated!). Why didn't the technician contact me sooner to provide an update? This could have saved me from wasting time and rearranging my day. Very frustrating.
The visit was smooth, straightforward, and efficient. The young engineer was well-mannered and respectful, even removing his shoes. He conducted a thorough inspection of our boiler and patiently explained the results and addressed my questions, especially since our boiler is quite old.
On the day of my appointment, I received a text saying the technician wouldn't arrive until the next afternoon. I tried calling the office numerous times with no response. After three hours of persistent attempts, I finally reached them. The appointment was supposed to be in the morning, yet they said the technician would come in the afternoon. The representative on the phone was extremely rude and didn’t apologize for the schedule change or the misleading text. Their customer service is lacking. I would prefer to pay more to a company that values its customers and keeps its commitments. Your response doesn't justify your actions or your poor customer service.
I had my boiler serviced on December 22nd, and it was functioning before the service. Immediately after, it started leaking. The paperwork I received had no remediation advice included. During Christmas, I couldn't reach anyone and made multiple attempts to follow up. When I finally got a response, they claimed the condensation pipe was brittle and had cracked, which wasn’t mentioned in the service report. They wouldn’t even consider a refund or partial refund for the incorrect service paperwork. I could have avoided spending £65 and not ended up without heat or hot water over Christmas.
