The floor plans were beautifully designed and incredibly easy to sort through, which made the whole process feel less overwhelming. We especially loved the virtual option—it really helped us visualize the space and feel confident in our choice.We decided to go with the semi-custom plan and modified an existing design to better suit our needs. Nate was amazing to work with—he listened closely, understood our vision, and delivered exactly what we were looking for. Wow. Nate and the team at Boutique Home Plans knocked it out of the park. We had two previous draftsmen who just couldn't nail down our vision and they were able to do it within two weeks from start to finish. I am so impressed by the work that I recommended him locally here in Iowa. If you're a visualist like me.. be sure to add on the 3D rendering package. Its worth it. Now for the tough part - To actually build the darn thing!*FYI your builder is going to love these plans too as they include many quantities for their typical takeoffs such as roof, siding, and other important factors.
A godsend! We looked for months for a way to design a custom home in a reasonable time frame and budget. Nate offered exactly that. His streamlined process, with fantastic scheduling options, is top of the line. He offered outstanding skill, professionalism, clear communication and reliability which made for a fantastic process. If you know what home design and floor plan you desire Nate will get your plans completed in a professional manner that is performed in 3 phases. He turned-around each phase of design as fast as we could provide feedback. We highly recommend BHD for their plans avaialble for purchase or for custom home plans.
My wife and I had a great experience designing our new home. During the initial call, Nate listened carefully to our ideas/wants, and his first draft was great. During the follow-up calls, we were able to make minor changes on the fly. For the one or two more substantial changes, we received them back within a day or two each time. For us, the whole process took only about three weeks. Nate was very thoughtful in his designs and was quick with replies to our questions. Our builder was happy with the final plans and told us they were very thorough and clearly well-thought-out. We think this is a wonderful way to design the exact home you want. The price is also a big consideration, given how much it would cost to either hire an architect to draw up plans or to buy a generic plan from the internet and then still have to hire an architect to make changes. We highly recommend this service.
