GLS is not fit for purpose

GLS is not fit for purpose! Ordered my parcel at the start of December hoping it would arrive for Christmas as a gift, it’s been sitting in the parcel centre in Ireland since the 22nd and it’s now the 31st. Shocking customer service too. How can they just hold on to people’s parcels without even an option to collect? Avoid!!

Cant get in touch with them. Don’t answer calls or reply to e mails Am waiting for a parcel from Cork to Kilkenny that’s in their parcel centre since 19/12/25 and unfortunately this is not the first time I’ve to wait a long time for deliveries.

Snail 🐌 delivery service - delivery from Austria took 29 days. In Ireland since 16/12/2025. I arranged an alternative delivery location as their customer service rep (who was very friendly) advised that the likelihood of it being delivered before Christmas is slim. However the parcel was still delivered to the previous delivery address. Thanks to my neighbour a very expensive item is not sitting outside my door for New Years ...
