Awful staff stole parcel, Depot staff with impolite, rude tone. Not responsibleI've been there for 8 times and can't receive the parcel, and the staffs are fooling me, RIDICULOUS!It's a luxury computer appliance, I can see the tracking record ONLY on the first day when they are delivering. I am at home the whole day, and I didn't see anyone is coming to the provided address, delivering the parcel. They just said it's failed, and will attempt again on the next working day. Meanwhile, I am so confused why they are saying failed to deliver, and I don't even can change the deliver date or collect at the depot. So, I drive the DHL depot asking, and they said I can collect on the next day morning. When I went on the next day for 5 times, they are saying it was MISSING since 8am on the first day. It made me so confuse isn't they try to deliver and failed? What if it's missing, how will their staff at the depot told me to collect on the second day. Everything doesn't make sense.I called the company where I purchased, and they responded to me they found the parcel, it turned out it's another parcel, not the "missing" one( computer appliance).After few days, I received an update from John Lewis, DHL told them they found my "missing" parcel, and they will deliver it again, which I didn't see any updates on the tracking history, so I got to DHL depot ask for twice. The most ridiculous part is the same staff when I collected my another parcel on the second day, told me I have collected and signed the missing one, WHICH I NEVER! And she knew, but SHE LIED! Meanwhile, there's another staff there checking on their system, said I have collected and signed the missing one on the first day when their staff delivering at my address, the delivery is successful. How come????? 2 staffs with 2 versions of record. It's so HILARIOUS.In general, these two staffs aren't friendly, they are using harsh and rude tone. Guys, it's not my fault of not receiving the parcel. Why are they blaming me with such disgusting tone, like I am lying I didn't get the parcel??? They don't believe the customers, just wanted to have someone to take the responsibility, whoever are the customers. Such an awful, terrible, frustrated experience with DHL. It also makes me feel like it's the delivering staff stole my computer........ Otherwise, I can't think of why it's signed during the first delivering attempt.I'm feeling so UNCOMFORTABLE and UNSECURED using DHL service. Who knows when our parcel will be steal by their staffs
I only gave 1 star as 0 stars is not an option, although it should be.I had an email from EBay today sayng DHL had attempted delivery at 11:30 hours, NO Delivery was attempted by DHL, complete lie to say the did, facts and video prove they didn't even try.Good thing it was only a Christmas Present.Nor was the package containing the book left in our locked and quite large mailbox which is covered by the Ring Doorbell / Video.We have been in most of the day and having been in until 12:45 in the afternoon, we checked our Ring Doorbell / Video which clearly shows 2 deliveries (both via Royal Mail) were recieved and also shows no attempted delivery by DHL, couldn't be bothered or delivered to the wrong address.Would have been easier to say it was Christmas Eve and DHL doesn't give a damn about delivering for customers if the driver can knock off and go home early!If they had attempted delivery they would / should have left a card! But as we were at home they didn't leave a card as they never got as far as our street.At least EVRI normally gets it to our house 9 out of 10 times or else at least into our street.DHL = Can only aspire to achieve the the reliability of EVRI or YODEL, and will never be as good as UPS, DPD or Royal Mail.A reply from DHL saying that DHL passed my parcel on to another courier is not any use, and since given that DHL select their own subcontractors who are probably the cheapest quote (as opposed to DHL delivering the parcels they have been entrusted with).Quotes from contractors need to be on quality of service and not price, or they become a race to the bottom on price, quality and reliability.DHL may subcontract delivery of parcels, but they can't delegate their resopnsibilities for delivery.As at 13:00 hrs on 29/12/25 some 5 days and an hour plus since they lied about attempting to deliver my parcel there is still no sign of my parcel being delivered.I am unable to sit at home day 24/7/365 waiting on DHL or their subcontracted courier, lying about whether they have attempted delivery of my parcel or not.
Paid extra for specific delivery date. Package was out for delivery on that day, with a delivery slot confirmed. I was in all day to receive. Subsequently tracker reported “delivery attempt failed”, despite no delivery driver coming- clearly did not even attempt to deliver.
Truly dreadful. This is easily the worst courier service in operation in Ireland, which is saying something. They have never once delivered anything to my address, and I have had to pick up any items sent through them from a local depot. I would say avoid them like the plague, but that's unfair to the disease.
Still waiting for a package from Italy since December 9th (today is the 24th). According to tracking, it has been stuck at the Dublin parcel center for over a week. I've tried to reach the customer support multiple times but with no success. Yesterday, the tracking status changed to say 'the parcel is expected to be delivered during the day,' but it did not arrive, and today the status remains the same. Absolutely incompetent.
