The Gentleman had the manners to knock on the door and hand the parcel over which I found very respectful he was also polite and courteous! Very unlike some of the other drivers from various companies who are to bone idle to knock on the door and leave parcels in the bins to be robbed so we'll done DHL
My delivery was due on or before 2 December, I kept my phone close to ensure the delivery could be signed for. I was out taking my dog for a walk on 28 Nov and received a message to say the parcel could not be delivered as no access(no prior warning of delivery) I called DHL to check the delivery date and it was confirmed it would be delivered on 2 December. Finally all delivered safe and sound.
Delivery was not diverted to neighbour as requested. Fortunately the delivery was late and I had by then returned to be able to receive it. It was tagged as a ‘sign for’ parcel but no signature was requested. First time I have been disappointed by DHL after many good experiences.
