3 StarsIn the beginning I was extremely excited to be able to work on this platform to be able to help my clients in need. Their were things that were no disclosed at the time of sign up I was shown a plan which is you pay the highest the all access you will get the higher commissions. What Bolt Access doesn't tell you is they are also taking part of your commission as well its a 70/30 split which wasn't disclosed to me until weeks after. Even when I asked upfront before I signed up. From a start up agency this would have been highly important to disclose to me when asked. I do still feel bolt is a good company for beginners IF THEY DISCLOSE everything. I honestly recommend getting enough premium on the books and get direct appointment to fully remove bolt access so you can get your Full commission. Samantha get 5 stars she's a amazing person and is very responsive if you ever need anything. Overall
5 days after getting the new car I get an engine warning light so I contacted the warranty company. I was told I could book in to a local approved service center but was advised on the limit on the labour rate of £47.50 per hour. I had a diagnostic done and this revealed a couple of minor faults. The garage only took a few minutes and didn't charge. They recorded the errors and reset them to see if they reoccured. No errors for about a week then it can e back. I again contacted the warranty company and explained and advised them that I would have the diagnostic done again. The company said I was converted for the diagnostic up to 1hr labour, but told me the garage must call them before completing any work. Again the garage didn't charge for the plug in diagnostic but this showed the same faults and the car was booked in for a physical inspection. This found a disconnected lead to the crankcase and was quickly fixed, the total labour only 30 minutes. We tried to call the warranty company to see what was covered but the waiting time was 30 minutes. The garage would clearly not wait this amount of time so I paid the bill and contacted the warranty company who said there was no claim as there were no broken parts. This is fair enough but purchasers should be aware that the warranty only covers parts and doesn't guarantee the vehicle is in a roadworthy condition at purchase. The system were repairing garages med to call and wait 30 minutes is clearly hopeless. When I asked if the warranty company was regulated, I then found out it wasn't.Bad information from customer services and impractical claims procedures. Look elsewhere.
If I could give no stars, I would.I had the top AA warranty you could get. Simply not worth the paper it's written on.The turbo blew up....covered on my warranty. But then The AA claimed that the failure was the fault of myself. No lights on the dash, completely clean oil and full service history. But absolutely no way would the AA have anything to do with it.Independent warranty company's have a reputation of doing this, and that's why I made sure I got the best warranty that money could buy.Had to pay the lot myself. So £950 later....AA, you can stick your warranty where the sun don't shine. You're an absolute disgrace.Don't touch independent warranties, no matter how good they seem, they are an absolute joke. And seven weeks later, I still don't have my car...
After making a claim that had been approved and submitting the relevant information and invoice on the 14th of May via email and a hard copy posted as well I have heard nothing🤔! Hence the 1 starHopefully you will be able to rectify this🤞This has been sorted my main gripe was the length of time to get a reply back from submitting the original claim. 👍I have since received a remittance of a bacs transfer to settle claim but as yet I have not received it in my account, I'll wait for a couple of more days. 🤞Finally received Bacs transfer for my claim, the advisors I spoke to sorted the issues out and resolved my faith Happy with the outcome.
Rick has been an absolute pleasure to work with and a true professional and made my on boarding process with Bolt very easy. He is always available to answer any questions I have and I feel fortunate that he is my company representative!
