My parcel was out for delivery 27/01/21, I have been waiting all day long nobody came to home but tracking says they try to deliver 1.14 pm but reception counter was closed, I rang knock customer service 5.00 pm and they told me it was a mistake and they mention packet will deliver 28/01/21. I am tracking again 28/01/21 9.00 am and tracking saying packet was delivered 27/01/21 4.00 pm, But I did not receive any delivery. I checked my door again in case driver left my packet at the door but I did not see any packet.GLS driver just useless, they have no responsibility at all. My suggestion is try different courier. We pay for good service, not paying for extra headache. Sorry, I need to mention I have received my packet 28/01/21 afternoon and it was just left into my door. Rubbish do not buy. Had issue with airconditioning pump on mini countryman 2013 within 5 months so took to a specialist mini mechanic who diagnosed issue, Was told by AA advisor the work had to be done for £25 an hour labour as that is all the warranty will pay, my mechanic was in hysterical laughter wondered what part of the remote uk I was going to find any garage working for £25 an hour, Paid myself. Then it broke down with DPF failure and I needed the AA they refused to come out as the warranty side of business was not related to them although they clearly state you get AA breakdown cover? 6am on way to work ended up useing greenflag who arrived in 10 minutes to confirm DPF valve failure. This car was suppose to have had an AA inspection and who i bought the cover through. My mechanic identified software was not showing any warning of dpf valve issue which minis are supposed to so someone had re programmed the computer. Then to add insult to injury diesal filters are not covered under this warranty and I was looking at a 4.5k bill to fix it. Not worth a light for expensive cover. I have no desire to discuss as this traded vehical was got rid of in px and what a waste of time and money.
GLS failed to collect the parcel for 3 days! Customer service is useless, promised to escalate, resolve the issue, nothing was done, they can't even get in touch with their driver. AVOID at all costs, there are other reliable couriers out there, use them
I had 3 months cover with a car I brought from a dealer. Car broke down on day 8. Called aa, thinking I would be covered. Their advice was to contact a local garage. I contacted 5 local vw specialists and none of them would touch a warranty repair job unless I paid for it myself and then recovered that money from them. Upon reading the t&C's it became quite clear that the material value of the paper is worth considerably more than the warranty. Repairs are only covered up to 1k, there's no roadside assistance, faults must not be pre-existing, I'm prevented from working on the car myself, there's no recovery service and there's no courtesy vehicle. They then had the cheek to write to me this week advisong the warranty is due to expire and recommending I renew with them. What a cheek.
