All I'm trying to do is transfer the small amount of money into my main pension. I first contacted them a month ago it's a very painful process. I have been promised an email twice and still not received it so I still don't know at what stage the transfer is at. I retire in March and just want all my pensions in one place not a lot to ask for unless your dealing with Aptia Group.
Utter rubbish, even the phone line doesn’t work and I’ve sent many requests via the Aptia site for help on the money I have invested in them!
I suspect something is seriously wrong with this company and advise NOT to invest your life savings in them!…
I think that they hope you die with frustration so they can keep your life savings!

Wow really poor transfer service
I'm at an age where I'm transferring multiple pots to one, I had 6 pension pots. 4 of the transfers went super smoothly.
Despite calling Aptia in advance, they blocked the transfer saying I needed to contact them.
Called them, and apparently I need to fill out a transfer form.
Not only that - it will take up to 20 further working days to get this.
In 2026, this is a poor service, and screams of potential cashflow issues. Where 4 other providers transferred the money automatically via the request portal. Yet this provider is doing everything it can to hold onto a small pot. (Thankfully the smallest of them)
Avoid and remove your money ASAP would be my advice.

The communication is lacking, with automated emails containing non-functional links, making it impossible to obtain further information. The timelines are very inconsistent, initially stating 2 days, then sending an automated email indicating 10 days just for a transfer out quote. I've had no correspondence from them during the years they've managed my pension. Overall, the experience feels very poor and gives the impression of a less than reputable company. I would recommend avoiding if possible.
I previously lodged a complaint regarding the service losing my pension discharge form on their online platform. An investigation was assigned to a representative, and while the pension transfer has been finalized, my requests for an update have been completely ignored. I now feel compelled to contact the relevant ombudsman due to their negligence and lack of competence.
Extremely frustrating experience with customer support. I spent two hours trying to get through, only for the call to be dropped when it was my turn. It took over a month to receive the information I requested, which is unacceptable. They claim they will call back, but when they do, the call disconnects before I can answer. I was in queue position 2 for more than 10 minutes after waiting, and then they hung up. I still haven’t received any follow-up, just a generic email suggesting I look things up, which is not helpful. I’m not in the mood to watch videos; this is utterly ridiculous. They really need to learn from other companies.
I provided all necessary information to update my surname and claim an old pension. This was back in September, and I have not received any updates since. I requested information online, but aside from a confirmation of receipt, there has been no further communication.
My husband will be contacting you on Monday and will send a written notice giving you a month to respond regarding his pension forecast. If there is no response, we will approach the pension ombudsman directly. This service appears to be withholding pensions, and we are prepared to escalate the matter to our local representative. The lack of communication is unacceptable, as my husband has been waiting six weeks for his forecast. You mentioned sending a letter about waiting for the trustees, but we have not received anything. We believe this is simply an excuse. We will not tolerate illegal behavior and will involve the pension ombudsman if necessary. You have been warned.
