The car was due to be delivered on the Tuesday but unfortunately Astons truck broke down. We were told it would now be a week at the earliest before we could have it re-delivered. This caused considerable upheaval as our own car was contracted to be collected that day. Too bad. We then had a call from sales to say the invoice was wrong and we had underpaid by £200. The advert had long been removed so we had nothing to argue with, other than a text to say ‘don’t worry about the figures on the invoice’. The car arrived on the day we were going on holiday, so could not check it over until we returned, as it was very dirty due to trailer delivery. On inspection we found a door to be a poor fit. We brought this to sales attention, with pictures, but did not even receive a reply to the correspondence which they did receive. It would seem once you’ve paid they have no further interest in you. 4th. new car I've had from Aston Vauxhall since 2015 which in itself speaks volumes and, knowing the car I wanted, I was able to negotiate purchase and delivery by email with the exception of the most recent, being my first electric it needed a test drive. Big thankyou to Blake.
