Review Time
This company wrongly listed my house as a non primary, overcharged me by $800+, then repeatedly sends checks to cover the mistake but the checks never make it to me. It’s been over two months now. In 2024 I find it hard to believe they cannot send funds via ACH. Now I have had to choose between late payment fees or overdraft fees because citizens has my mortgage escrow wrongly inflated, and is playing games sending checks and losing them in the mail like it’s 1955. And while we are here , I have two friends each separately suing this company in attempts to get their roofs repaired. It’s stuff like this that has built the image of insurance being a total scam. The people of Florida would be better off without insurance requirements!! None of us would have it if it wasn’t forced on us.
The claims adjuster, Christopher Hackenberg, was great to work with. He explained everything very well and helped guide me through the process. He made a terrible situation much more tolerable and helped make me whole again. I'll never complain about paying an insurance bill again.
Unfortunately I had my very first claim. The company I hired did most of the dealings with insurance company. Once you finally found an adjuster, it all went very smoothly. He sent his report and very quickly I received paper work stating line by line what they were paying for. It was very helpful. Only hiccup was that the deductible was wrong. After some phone tag, I left a message and it was quickly taken care of. I was surprised at how quickly you guys got right on it and and paid for everything. No hassle at all. I appreciate that.
