Anya my daughter and myself would like to thank and give my feedback of the whole experience that Julie, Michelle and Keith the site manager have been Outstanding and Amazing at the Westwood Green Willington Avant Homes Site.
They have all gone up and beyond, being very professional and with a great customer service sorting all the little problems that came with buying a new build and sorting the problems out quickly and professionally making the whole experience stress free.
They has answered every question, been available whenever we need them, and made us feel as though we are really cared for.

My partner and I had always said we wouldn’t opt for a new build, but since this development was nearby, we decided to check it out as first-time buyers. After touring the homes, we were impressed by the quality of construction and the appealing location, so we reserved our plot. The representatives were incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the process. They assisted us with any challenges, provided guidance on our options, and were always available to answer our questions. They ensured a smooth handover between themselves during any time off, making us feel well-supported every step of the way. We are truly grateful for their assistance!
My partner and I are absolutely delighted with the outstanding customer service and attention we have received from the team at the company. After moving into our beautiful new home just over a week ago, they have continued to check in on us to make sure we are satisfied and that any concerns are addressed promptly. I had my doubts about a new build, but I'm really pleased with my decision so far (even though I've only been here a week). The representative was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure I moved in on time and without any issues. They made everything easy!
Overall I was impressed with Avant Homes regarding my new build, but there were a few frustrations along the way. This was for Seely Fields.
First, the good:
- The build quality was of a very good standard. Our purchase completed before Christmas, and our first round of snagging only revealed a few issues that need fixing, such as the thermostat being wired incorrectly (Oops!).
- Ruby was absolutely fantastic at keeping me and my partner in the loop, and did everything in her power to push things through to get us in the house for a December completion. If it was her we’d dealt with from the start, this would likely be a 5-star review and she should be commended for that.
Now onto the negatives:
- It was very difficult to get answers to questions we sent to our original Sales advisor. I had at one point sent a list of questions about the plot I wanted answering before me and my partner decided to reserve. These questions were never answered and instead all focus was just on when me and my partner could reserve. This left a bad taste in my mouth and did make me consider if we should even reserve.
- Linked to the above, we were told our rear garden would be turfed when we were confirming our optional extras. However when we moved into the plot, it was not. When discussing this with Ruby she showed us the optional extras we had signed which did not include the turf. Obviously we should have checked carefully and we can’t really do anything about it, but we know it was discussed and asked for, and should have been on the form.
So all in all, it was not an unpleasant journey but there is room for improvement in certain aspects. Hopefully when we report in our snags, they are fixed quickly and I won’t need to update my review!
After some initial disappointment with a reservation at another site, the representative at the company truly put us at ease. Her assistance was the key factor in our decision to move forward with the plot reservation. She is a true asset to the team.
I’ve just finalized my home purchase and am eagerly anticipating the move. The representative was fantastic and provided invaluable support throughout the entire process. They were consistently quick to respond, offered weekly updates with photos, and were incredibly professional to collaborate with. I would highly recommend the service to anyone seeking to buy a new property in the area! Best regards,
