AVOID AVANTSTAY — zero empathy, zero customer service.
We had an absolutely awful experience with AvantStay. A severe snowstorm made it unsafe/impossible for us to travel to the home we booked. We reached out immediately, expecting basic understanding and reasonable customer support. Instead, we got rigid policies, unhelpful responses, and a complete refusal to work with us on any kind of refund or credit.

This wasn’t a case of “we changed our minds.” This was a legitimate weather emergency and a safety issue — and they still chose to keep our money and offer nothing meaningful in return.

The most disappointing part was how they handled it: dismissive, slow, and completely lacking empathy. If something goes wrong, you will find out quickly that AvantStay is not on your side. They take your money and hide behind policy, even when travel is dangerous.

I would never book with them again, and I strongly recommend others don’t either. There are plenty of hosts and companies who treat guests like humans — this is not one of them.

Excellent communication and amazing stay!

The support team maintained contact throughout our entire experience. Our accommodations were fantastic and spotless, with beautiful facilities. The entire property was easy to navigate, the beds were comfortable, the sofas were enjoyable, and the TVs were simple to use with streaming apps. We will definitely return and recommend this service to friends and family for their next trip!

Unforgettable Christmas Experience at a Stunning Lodge

We rented a beautiful lodge at a lake for Christmas 2025 with our family (8 adults, 7 kids). This rental was absolutely amazing! Having experienced many family vacations, everyone agreed this was the best. The property layout matched the photos perfectly, offering ample seating for conversation, dining, or private moments. We were all impressed by the quality and comfort of the furnishings. The audio system was easy to use, and the 15-seat theater room was a huge hit for all ages. Everything in the house functioned perfectly. The pantry was well-equipped with mixers, blenders, and a crockpot. I was especially pleased with the thoughtful touches provided by the service team to enhance our stay. Since it was Christmas, I asked about a tree for the kids, and they had it set up by our arrival. All light switches were clearly labeled, and the bathrooms were stocked with essentials. Closets came with laundry baskets, hangers, and plenty of dresser space. The laundry room had full detergent bottles, and both kitchens were supplied with garbage bags and paper towels, which saved us from having to make an extra trip to the store. The weather was perfect at 75°, allowing us to enjoy the lake and kayaks, with lifejackets available for everyone. The hot tub was a delight, and the gas grill was in excellent condition, connected to the house gas supply, eliminating worries about running out of propane. The property was clean inside and out. Additionally, there’s a new grocery store nearby, along with various dining options. I highly recommend this rental!

Broken bed and soiled pillow case

pillow cases were dirty the bed was broken and being held up by a log bed was very uncomfortable for 3 days they did offer to check it out but by that time we only had one day left they offered a measly 25 dollars off and 200 dollars off if my next stay was for 1500 dollars or more won’t be using them again

Extremely disappointed regarding our…

Extremely disappointed regarding our experience with avantstay. We booked our stay in the UTE lodge back January of 2025 for January 2026 and with less than 90 days notice it was recently cancelled. We have a large 10+ person family and there is extremely limited availability of comparable properties. I discovered this cancellation was due to the property management company changing for the UTE lodge and Avantstay refused to transfer the future bookings to the new company. Avoid this company if you actually want to stay in your booked rental. Reservation ending in 9JR6J.

Deeply Disappointing Experience with AvantStay Property Management

I own two homes in California that are managed by AvantStay, and my experience with them has been extremely disappointing. Over the course of our relationship, I’ve encountered repeated billing errors resulting in thousands of dollars in incorrect charges, poor communication, and a lack of accountability.There have also been serious guest complaints, including allegations of theft, that were handled unprofessionally and without transparency. Instead of resolving issues constructively, the company’s representatives—particularly my main contact, Nikolina Kurzatkowska—have often been evasive and misleading in their responses.Based on my experience, I would strongly caution other property owners from partnering with AvantStay. Their management style has been antagonistic and unreliable, and I’ve lost confidence in their integrity and competence as a property management company.
