Caution: My experience with a certain glasses retailer - Order issue and no refund

Caution: I want to share a very disappointing experience I've had with a certain glasses retailer to alert others. I placed an order for their G100 glasses on September 4, 2025, for $108.99. The package was initially returned by customs in China. I reached out to their support to change the shipping address. For over two months, I was given the runaround. First, they said it hadn't shipped, then they claimed it had, but never provided a valid tracking number. After immense frustration and delays, I demanded to cancel the order and receive a full refund on November 6. Despite my repeated emails and a final warning, they have not processed my refund. They have simply taken my money and provided nothing. A quick search shows I'm not alone; their BBB rating is an 'F' and there are many similar complaints online. Has anyone else experienced this? I've already initiated a chargeback with my credit card company, but I want to ensure the community is aware of their questionable practices. Steer clear of this retailer!

Extremely Disappointing Service

Extremely disappointing service. I can’t believe I didn’t check the reviews before ordering. I ordered glasses with transition lenses on November 23, 2025, and it's now January 12, 2026, with no product received. I only received plastic lenses, a charging cord, and a cleaning cloth, but no glasses. I truly don’t understand how such businesses are allowed to function. If something seems too good to be true, this service’s actions are a prime example.

Fantastic Purchase – Highly Recommended

Initially, I was concerned about my purchase. I ordered prescription glasses on November 2, 2025, and had not heard from the service for weeks. However, when I reached out, the support team provided me with timely updates. I received notifications on November 9, December 19, and my glasses finally arrived on December 26. I’m very satisfied with the quality. The price of $179.00 is a steal compared to $450.00 elsewhere. The glasses work wonderfully, my prescription is spot-on, and the picture quality is excellent. The AI feature is impressive. My only minor concern is that the glasses are a bit thicker than I anticipated, but as my spouse pointed out, they do contain advanced technology. Overall, this was a great purchase.

This feels like a scam.

This feels like a scam. They provide a tracking number as if the item has been shipped, but then cite logistics issues and never actually send the product. This seems to be their business model. Even if you file a complaint, you only receive a generic response. I repeat: this feels like a scam.

Horrendous Customer Service

Avoid this service at all costs. They are scammers. The products arrive late and are often defective. When you try to return them or reach out for help, customer service is nonexistent and slow to respond. It’s been three months, and I still can't return my items. A terrible experience overall.

I ordered a pair of glasses with transition lenses on November 23, 2025, and as of January 12, 2026, I still have not received them.
