I no longer required their services, having previously held 14 accounts with them. I canceled in October 2025, yet they continued to attempt billing for two additional months. Despite my requests for them to stop contacting me, they persisted in trying to charge a card I had already switched from. They would call several times a week and send countless letters. If you want to be harassed, this is the service for you. Otherwise, save your money, handle your plumbing or electrical issues on your own, or choose another insurance provider. This experience has been incredibly overwhelming and has disrupted both my personal and professional life. I strongly advise staying away from them!
On October 9, 2025 American Water Resources hiked my coverage from $9.74 per month to $25.20 without notifying me and getting my consent or approval. I noticed the charge on October 14. For approximately one year, this company collected $9.74 from me. I was reviewing my bank purchases on-line when I noticed the overcharge. I consider American Water Resources a fraudulent company who does not notify their customers but acts without customer approval to high prices. Customers beware. I suspect there are many people who are unaware of what this company is doing. I called the company to get a resolution on October 15 and spoke with Page. I insisted that the company hiked the cost without my permission and without notifying me. I would give this company a negative rating instead of the one star. I don't trust them, and you should not trust them either. Customer BEWARE!!!!
