NEVER buy from this online retailer, unless you don’t mind having your money taken for more than three weeks (and probably now it will be more than a month) without receiving a proper product nor a refund. I placed my order on 18 Oct, and the parcel went back to their warehouse due to ‘technical issues’ after chasing and waiting for a week. They were unable to provide a new tracking number straight away despite claiming that they would re-dispatch my order as a ‘top priority’ next day. I had to wait for another week (the tracking number was never provided anyway) so I requested a refund, to which I was advised they would process the refund with the ‘assurance’ that I would get a confirmation email once it’s been processed. In the meantime, my parcel arrived and it was faulty! I contacted them again to chase the update on my refund and also to query on how to return the faulty product. I was advised the refund was STILL being processed and they would get back to me about returning the faulty product. Still no update after waiting for another week. I chased them AGAIN and was advised that I would need to return the faulty product first before getting the refund and I am WELCOME to return the faulty product to this address with no further information, implying it should be returned at MY expense. This whole experience is just a nightmare with no phone number to contact. I note they claim here they will call a customer back if the customer leaves a message via their website contact form, which I did, so will see what happens. I am going to open a dispute process with my financial institution soon.UPDATE: I was able to speak to one of their team members over the phone and discuss my issues. The return process went smooth although I was a bit worried when the courier tracking site said it wasn’t delivered at first because the warehouse was closed, with which Backcare promptly followed up when I notified them. Refund was processed on the same day when the product was returned. I am glad that I got my refund without going through a dispute/resolution process.
The teeter EZ up gravity boots are a good fit and function well, BUT,,, the smell coming from the padding is absolutely putrid, it’s like a combination of rat urine, lp gas and ammonia , once I finish using them inside the house on our FT2 bar I have to put them straight outside before they stink the house out and make everyone feel sick ( not happy! ), if it wasn’t for the putrid smell I would give them a five star rating.Travis.
