Firstly, I acknowledge the quality of the swimsuit material is great, and these swimsuits are sure to suit some people perfectly.Unfortunately, the ($270) swimsuit didn't provide enough boob coverage and support for me to feel comfortable, so I contacted the seller to arrange a return. This is where things started to go south. The seller invoked an imaginary clause in Australian consumer law that dictates swimwear cannot be returned for a refund, while simultaneously requesting that I return the goods in saleable condition. I was offered a store credit. The seller has no physical stores, so customers aren't able to try things on. That's why nearly every other online retailer that cares about customer experience offers no-questions-asked refunds. On that note, if you're looking for EXTRAORDINARY swimwear and customer service, head over to Une Piece. The styles and quality are far superior to Baiia AND they're cheaper.
There's a reason that no refunds are offered, the business clearly wouldn't survive otherwise. Baiia are the most uncomfortable and unflattering swimmers I've ever experienced. The opposite of all of the social media hype. Too tight in the middle, boobs falling out and may as well be an g-string after taking a few steps in them. Unfortunately I am now stuck with an unusable credit (all of the swimsuits are the same cut!). Worst $250 I've ever spent.
Communicated intensively via email to get the right sizing for my first Baaiia purchase. Had such great help that I went straight to buying 2 pairs of tops and bottoms! When the items arrived, I liked how the Havana fits, but after further consultation decided to go with their advice to exchange and go down 1 size on the Martinique bottom, which did the trick for a better fit. Looking forward to wearing these on my upcoming holiday end of year. Yeeeaaahh!
Beautiful fabric and swimsuits but not for shorter gals like me the crotch was too wide and I end up gifting the suit to one of my taller friends. I thought I had ordered the wrong size the first time so I ordered another suit - same problem. Make sure you measure up before you buy one They may not be the right fit if you are shorter like me. 5'1"
