Review Time
So disappointed. Spent a lot on postage for returns (close to $100) on top of the cost of the swimwear and still could not find a good fit. Upset after receiving my last order I gave up as I could not afford to send them back again from NZ. So recently while in Aust on holiday I contacted them and asked if I could send back while there (as much cheaper for postage). My bikini was unworn, still with the tags on and a current style and fabric. (I was hoping I may be able to try some on in a store but wasn’t near any retailer so was hoping to get a credit to use on one of the new dresses or something.) I got a reply email stating that no I could not return them as it was outside their 30 days. No consideration was given to the cost of returning from overseas and that I had already spent a lot on multiple returns. Would not try again. Too expensive to take the risk. I would not recommend to anyone I know unless they could try on in person.
Have purchased 3 sets from then (2 when they had a seconds sale). Love the quality of the material and really happy with the product. I have only worn them a couple of times as it hasn’t been hot enough. I would say I should have gone up a size in the initial top I purchased, even following the measurements. Love the high waisted bottoms though
Baiia were so good at getting back to me and answering some questions about sizes etc. I was 4 months pregnant at the time I purchased but wanted them for an upcoming holiday. The advice was perfect and they were so much better than I anticipated. I am a size 10FF usually so was skeptical about the top being supportive enough however they were great. Got a 10 on the top and the bottom and almost could have done with an 8. Definitely hard to get in and out of but even with a bit of a baby bump they felt great on and worth the effort. Tying in the middle and then around the back made the top feel much more supportive too. Am very tempted to get a second set after baby!!
I LOVE Baiia.. the ethos, the sourcing and making of materials, the blurb about providing the seamstresses with housing and transport-literally loving the whole situation! I was lucky enough to try on a pair of a friend's swimmers so knew that I loved the way they looked on me too! And its true, I do- BUT...I have just received the pink sangria bikini and mimosa top, (as I am actually obsessed with the pink and yellow together) but was surprised just how tight it was at first. As I previously mentioned, I have tried a friends' on, so am aware how much they stretch (almost a whole size or so). I do wish they came with a little note telling me to calm down & wear it in. If I hadn't tried another on, I would be seriously freaking about how much I spent without the ability to return policy. I'm going to wear it under my clothes for a couple of hours so it fits me like a GLOVE, then strut around feeling like a goddess!! Thanks Baiia ❤️❤️
