I had the £200 full service, also i needed 2 new tyres, new cable and brake pads for both wheels and a broken spoke fixed.
When I picked up the bike it felt brand new!
The mechanic Mark did a superb job as mike bike was very dirty and had been neglected by me. I had a few questions, if there was any trouble mending the bike etc, he was very informative,
The bloke on the till was Finley who was equally good.
Not the first time I've had a service from Balfe's Hackney and not the last!

Ordered a new wheel & was told it would take up to a week & they would phone when it comes in. After a week I had to phone, only to be told it was in. I asked why I hadn't been informed of this, to which the reply was "Yes you should have been phoned" Not a very good customer service resulting in a prolonged period without a bike.

Brilliant company. Friendly efficient staff. After a bad experience with a well known sports chain I ordered an Electra Townie Go5i from Balfe's. James was very helpful, calling me to let me know the bike was in stock. I ordered it on a Friday and it was delivered the following Tuesday fully made up and ready to go. A special thanks to Ian the delivery guy who changed the delivery address for me at the last minute. Also bike was £300 cheaper than elsewhere. A top company who I will recommend to anyone. Well done guys, the big sports chains could learn a lot from you. Customer Service at it's best.

Having had a bad experience with a different supplier I contacted Balfe's Bikes for stock availability before purchasing my Electra Townie Go5. They were very helpful and informative and kept me up to date with what was happening both by email and telephone. They even changed my delivery address at the last minute. The whole transaction from my initial enquiry to delivery took 3 working days. I would highly recommend Balfe's to anyone wishing to buy a new bike. Also they were the cheapest price I found anywhere.

Exceptional support from the team at the local bike shop

The staff at the local bike shop in Streatham were exceptionally helpful, truly going the extra mile for me, particularly a representative who dedicated a lot of time assisting me with a problem regarding my cycle to work voucher. I also faced a gear issue today, and the team in Kingston resolved it without hesitation. Outstanding service overall, thank you!

Amazing deals and impressive delivery timing, but tracking issues

The deals were outstanding, and the delivery timing right after the holiday was remarkable. However, the tracking link did not work, preventing me from tracking my order's progress. I was happily surprised to find it at home after work without any prior notice, except for a message from the service confirming its delivery, while the postal service provided no updates.

Exceptional service. I found no faults in how they handled all my questions and were incredibly supportive in arranging the kids' seat to ensure it was fitted correctly! I will certainly purchase from them again!

Delayed delivery

Ordered on a Monday morning at 8 AM, with the item in stock and promised same-day dispatch if ordered before 1 PM. Two days later, the item was dispatched but didn't arrive until Friday. Had I known about the misleading dispatch time, I would have made the 40-mile round trip to my local dealer.
