This is a follow up to a review I wrote in 2024. I just completed a bottling project with Barrel Global where we brought a Bourbon to the commercial market. After the product launch on 8/31/2025 I followed up with a week long visit to Bourbon country including a site visit to Barrel Global in Kentucky. I feel that I have had a crash course on the Bourbon industry and received insights that were not obtainable except in a hands-on experience. The team at Barrel Global has gone out of their way to garner my trust and I look forward to many more one-off projects in the near and distant future.
Just purchased several barrels through Barrel Global and loved the onboarding process. Charles Keller is who we worked with, and he made the whole process simple and straightforward. Most of our purchase was actually after regular working hours and he responded to our emails quickly and got us taken care of. My first contact was with Mark, owner of Dueling Grounds Distillery. I talked with him a bit about purchasing a barrel and he introduced me to Juan at Barrel Global. I purchased a Dueling Grounds barrel through Juan last year and purchased a Green River barrel this year. We are currently camping in Frankfort, Kentucky and have gone on some fabulous tours. Most of them have been setup or suggested by Murray, who also works for Barrel Global. He gave us some great information on the area and took us on a few tours. His knowledge is amazing and he is definitely a great asset for the company. We will be purchasing a new barrel again and look forward to working with Juan and visiting with Murray again in the future.

This was my second time purchasing a barrel from Barrel Global. Both times have been very easy and well explained. During ownership when I’ve had any questions the team is always great about answering. On this particular barrel I won a distillery tour and that whole experience was wonderful and they were able to secure me a barrel of my choice mash bill.
