Review Time
I buy regularly from BCA. On occasion you have need to ask for very simple requests and every single time they refuse. To the motor trade, they are the most unhelpful, rude and ignorant supplier to deal with. It seems like the answer is no, now whats the question. There are way better auctions to use than BCA these days.
Purchased a car from Hyundai - who contracted BCA to pick up and deliver my car. Their driver used profanities, threw keys in my face, and slammed my car door on me. All whilst on my drive and in the presence of my 3 year old daughter. To add insult to the ordeal, when I contacted BCA - they could not care less. Which is evident in the fact that it is 7th April today and the company have yet to respond to my calls/emails and or return emails/calls that I’ve requested. Absolutely disgusting “service” but after seeing the 90% of 1 star reviews, I’m not surprised. Have tried to reach out to both COO - Stuart Pearson and Managing Director - Dean Hulse and have had nothing back. Avoid at all costs!!
Bought two vehicles from BCA, both have outstanding finance attached to them, one for almost two months. Chasing every day for two weeks now- no further on!Frustratingly, an automated response stating their terms and conditions-which they clearly do not adhere to.
Well this lot have been chasing me around for a disputed few quid. They would not even accept electronic servicing docs on handover day. Ive notified Santander due to this company being so naive and petty over £65 they have lost another business, client lease. Im going back to LEX Autolease.
I was advised BCA would be collecting my car which I leased from LeasePlan / Ayvens.Communication was 5* right up to the day but then I didn’t hear anything on the day. I called BCA at lunchtime for an update and they said someone would be with me by the end of the day. I googled the business and came across these reviews then started really panicking as they’re all 1* and many say they just don’t turn up!A guy called Sam called me late afternoon and collected the car as agreed, did a thorough check and was very polite, friendly and professional. I’ve waited until I got confirmation of no charges from the lease company before writing this review (just in case of anything happened after my car was collected). Thank you BCA for great service and to anyone reading, we don’t all have a terrible experience :)
Terrible customer service.I paid for a 'Blue' account subscription, but they disabled my account 'due to inactivity' despite my paid subscription having 9 months left. When queried on the telephone, they say there were re-activating it, but shockingly slow and I missed my desired auction. Will report to financial ombudsman.
Received 5 emails and 4 text messages telling my how important it was to prepare my car for collection.Waited and awaited all day and when I chased I was told" oh they should be with you in about an hour and half"!BCA make it really clear that you must be ready and basically put your life on hold for their convenience. Abysmal customer service, actually no customer service. I very rarely right reviews but this terrible customer experience made me change my mind.
Purchased a bca assured car, graded 2, mechanical and electrical report all green. Told by website I would get peace of mind, sadly not true...rear boot tray rattling, boot itself doesn't rise like it should. Bca dismissed claim. Engine now overheating, sadly not within 48 hours so BCA will not help, I really don't understand how they keep operating even though they have such poor feedback. This is the second car I've purchased with a glowing report that has turned out to be awful. I've learnt my lesson, never again!I would strongly advise anyone using bca to find your car elsewhere. No savings to be had just a headache.
Bidding up cars to make them more profitable, yep worked there for quite a while and yes the bid up the cars , among a lot of other factors that would be frowned on in the motor trade , the company needs a deep investigation into the underhanded tactics they use to push profits and it’s not legal .
