The location and decor are fantastic. The service was easily accessible and quick to respond to our requests (such as an extra key and possible package delivery). However, the listing mentioned 2 bathrooms without clarifying that one only had a shower and lacked a toilet, which wasn't ideal for 4 adults. Additionally, improved lighting for the bathroom mirrors would be beneficial, as they are quite dim.
We had a nice stay overall. The positives: it was impeccably clean, with comfortable seating and beds, a well-equipped kitchen, convenient elevator access, and proximity to shopping and transport. The lighting was great, with most options having dimmers, which I appreciated. We were just a short walk from a tram stop and could easily explore numerous dining and shopping options. The view of the canal was lovely, and the evenings were peaceful. A few things to note: while there are two en-suite bathrooms, they only include showers and sinks, with just one toilet located in the hallway by the entry. The toilet room lacks heating, so we kept the door open to stay warm. Additionally, there's no hot water in that room, which was an adjustment for us. While we layered up, the apartment felt quite chilly at times. The thermostat has a motion sensor that lowers the temperature when it doesn't detect movement, which was noticeable while watching TV. Also, there is no air conditioning for summer rentals. We received a welcome package with kitchen essentials, but only one small hand soap for each en-suite, so we had to buy more for the toilet. No napkins were provided, so paper towels or napkins will need to be purchased if you plan to eat there. A few kitchen cabinet doors could use some repairs, and we were only given two large garbage bags, which was insufficient. Laundry detergent was also not included. Lastly, there was construction noise from the neighboring building starting early in the morning, even on weekends. Despite these drawbacks, none were major issues, just things to keep in mind. The check-in process was smooth. We called the provided number, accessed the building easily, and met with a friendly representative who showed us around. Overall, it was a good experience.
The two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath apartment was exceptionally clean and well-kept. Upon entering, there's a small foyer with a handy half bath to the right. Straight ahead to the left is the bright, open kitchen and living area. Down the hall, the first door leads to the main bedroom, which has an en-suite bathroom with a shower and sink. Further along is the second full bathroom, also with a shower and sink, followed by the second bedroom at the end of the hall. The apartment has ample windows that provide lovely views of the courtyard. The neighborhood is pleasant — transportation is just around the corner, with several metro lines easily accessible. I used the metro to visit famous attractions and even traveled to the airport after checking out. Many restaurants and shops are nearby. The owner checked in during my stay to ensure everything was going well, which I truly appreciated. Overall, it was a great place to stay.
