A crazy good course

A crazy good course — deep knowledge, and he even prepares exercises for you, plus a bunch of workshops and project files with detailed breakdowns. It’s honestly insane value for the price.

Great teacher, inspiring content — what else could we ask for?

I found Ben on YouTube while looking for After Effects tutorials. When I discovered his content, I realized that this was exactly the kind of motion design I wanted to learn and get better at.After several years, I ended up buying all of his courses, and I’m really happy and grateful for his work. He’s a great teacher, and his content is exactly the kind of motion design I enjoy. His courses are very well structured and always interesting, and I’ve learned a lot from them. He’s also a great person and a true professional, because whenever I had a problem — problems with the platform, not with After Effects! :) — he replied to my emails quickly and helped me solve itHe also shares free material, which is great for continuing to experiment and learn. Thanks a lot, Ben!

The course is awesome

The course is awesome. You don’t just learn how to do the projects but new and faster ways to approach your work. I highly recommend it. The only thing I would suggest is more interaction between students and the teacher but I know this is hard in an online course

Ben Marriott’s motion design course is…

Ben Marriott’s motion design course is easily one of the best investments I’ve ever made for my professional growth. What sets it apart from typical tutorials is how Ben bridges the gap between technical software knowledge and true artistic principles. Instead of just showing which buttons to click, he teaches you how to think like a motion designer by focusing on timing, spacing, and the subtle details that make an animation feel high-end.The workflow he shares is incredibly efficient and has completely changed how I approach my projects, giving me much more confidence when tackling complex briefs. I especially appreciated the focus on organic textures and professional polishing techniques that moved my work away from that "stiff" look and into something that feels truly cinematic. It is a dense, high-quality program that delivers exactly what it promises, and I’ve seen a massive improvement in my portfolio since completing it. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is serious about taking their motion design skills to a professional level.

I have learned a lot more in the span of a couple months compared to years of schooling. and I love the assignment based approach that Ben does as it helps with retention quite a lot. I love learning at my own pace as I tend to be consistent without feeling forced to learn. So following along the course so far and doing the related assignments right after has led me to learn so much already! I am still taking my time with the courses and I am glad that they will always be there.

I give it 100 out of 100

I’m a graphic designer who wanted to expand my skill set, so I started learning After Effects through free YouTube videos. That’s how I came across Ben’s tutorials. I really love the way he explains every step and the reasoning behind it. It’s not just about following instructions, he helps you understand the mechanisms behind the process.Recently, I got some 2D animation freelance gigs by chance, and I knew it's time to level up with some proper training. After doing some research and reading reviews on other forums, I decided to join Ben’s Motion Foundation course.I’m glad I did, because I’ve learned so much from him. Here are a few things that stood out:Hard skills. The way he approaches animation is simple yet efficient. There are many ways to achieve the same effect, but he always chooses the easiest and most logical one, and that mindset is gold.Attention to detail. Motion design is all about how precisely you animate things. Those tiny tweaks and experiments really add up. Ben teaches you how to notice the little movement and improve those small 1% details that take your animation to the next level.Tidiness. He emphasizes the importance of labeling, color coding and organizing your workspace. These habits make a huge difference, especially when projects get more complex. Ever since I adopted his system, my workflow has become so much smoother, and saved me a lot of time! Assignments. Every week comes with a new assignment. You can either follow his demo exactly or use a different graphic he prepared to finish the assignment. Or you can go wild and use the same techniques to create something totally different. I usually go for the last option because it pushes me out of my comfort zone and I’ve grown a lot because of that.I’m only halfway through the course, but I can already see a big improvement between my first and third client projects. My animation pacing is better, transitions feel smoother, and I’m working much faster.Highly recommend Ben’s Motion Foundation course!

The only instructor worth your time.

Ben's an extremely talented designer and instructor. He clearly cares for both his students and his craft, and he's one of the only online instructors who's not chasing trends and wasting the time of his students.

Ben is an incredible professional with good teaching skills. As soon as he announced his course release, I immediately bought it. Probably I was among the first people to get the class. Totally worth it!
