I took a class at my university in motion design and I left that experience with a ton of confusion. Ben’s tutorials really helped clarify a LOT for me and I recommend these courses to anyone who seriously wants a methodical, clear approach to motion graphics - I learned more in the first 2 modules of the foundations class than I did in my design program at University. He’s literally the best.
These are the best courses I've taken in all my time studying motion design! Ben provides a comprehensive foundation and lots of professional tips; his courses have really helped me level up my skills in both design and motion design. I also want to point out that English isn’t my native language, but listening to his course is a real pleasure—everything is clear.
After going through the course, I had a bit of a breakthrough in how I think about my work.It helped me approach projects more intentionally and make better creative decisions.I’m not just focusing on how things look anymore… but also on how they work and what they communicate.I still find myself going back to Ben’s materials quite often :)
Ben's Master Motion Design course is one of the most in-depth courses I've found. He thoroughly walks you through every step without cutting any corners. As an absolute beginner I was able to follow along, and build the confidence I could apply the lessons to my own personal projects. Ben is a fantastic teacher and designer, and you'll be in great hands if you become a student of his.
I bought a course by Ben Marriott and it was fantastic. He explains concepts clearly and makes even complex topics easy to understand. You can tell he truly knows his craft, and his teaching style makes the knowledge stick. Definitely worth it — I’m looking forward to buying more of his courses.
I took the Master Motion Design course and the Design Breakthrough course. The contents of the course helped me to really strengthen and solidify my skills in After Effects. But more than that, I think what I really found stuck with me even until now that I’m working in an agency, is Ben’s processes. Following the course he lets us in on a lot of his “whys” which shaped the way I work, even now. Not just a course, it’s like Ben is literally my mentor haha
