I’m an illustrator taking his motion design course, and it’s been such a great experience. The material is incredibly easy to follow, even if you don’t come from a motion background.He explains concepts in a very clear and structured way :) , breaking things down step by step so it never feels overwhelming. I especially appreciate how practical the lessons are you can immediately apply what you learn instead of just watching passively.The pacing is perfect, and the examples make everything much easier to understand. It really helped me feel more confident transitioning from illustration into motion.Highly recommend for anyone who wants to get into motion design in a simple, approachable way!
Ben is an expert and great teacher. I’ve learned so much from his YouTube tutorials and paid courses over the years, that I can now consider myself an expert too! I'm around a third of the way through both Master Motion Design and Design Breakthrough, and both courses are excellent. What sets Ben apart as a teacher is that he doesn't just cover the technical side of After Effects — he also brings a strong sense of design, form and illustration to everything he teaches. You notice it in the way he explains his choices: it goes beyond 'how', it's always also about 'why'. A must for anyone who wants to grow seriously as a motion designer.

I’m also a designer and animator, and I attribute those earned titles to my time spent taking Ben’s courses (and watching his stellar YouTube channel). No matter your skill level. Taking this course was honestly one of the best decisions I’ve made in my motion design journey. Before starting, I was pretty confused about where to begin and how to progress, since there’s so much scattered content out there. This course really helped me cut through that and gave me a clear path. Super helpful and definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to take their motion skills to the next level.
If you’re tired of "tutorial hell" and constantly pausing or reversing YouTube videos every three seconds just to catch a clue, this is the best investment you can make. Ben has a way of breaking down the most technical parts of After Effects so your head doesn't spin, and the structure actually forces you to create. You end up with project files and assignments that look like "premium" professional animations you’d actually put in a portfolio. It’s definitely an investment compared to free videos, but it saved me months of frustrated googling and trial and error. I love this course!
