I do not quite know who the heck these people think they are. we had a great many valuable items to donate and they arrived to tell us loftily that due to a crack in one of the fridge containers they would nt be able to take it. But were happy to take an AEG washing machine two years old but not the furniture we had also offered. BHF can go F themselves for ever more.

Also we have to wait for their arrival again loftily announced and no indication of morning or afternoon. We have placed all said items with a spice website who appear to be more intelligent .

I never wanted to do a negative review to a charity. This is not a nice charity to donate to. I offered to donate a two seat recliner sofa bought 6 months ago from dfs I paid £1000 for it on clearance. No stains no rips and a desk again really nice and some bags of clothes (all saints new with tags and other brands because I am moving and will have no space) they rejected it. I then put them on trash nothing and soon I got lots of people message me as the sofa and desk are nice. I also wanted to give them an exercise bike if they came ( worth £500 second hand and was not used at all) such a disgusting company! I will tell everyone

Extremely Disappointing Experience

I am seeking removal services and I am truly appalled by what I have read here. It's unbelievable how the employees or volunteers from the organization are described as behaving in such an unpleasant manner. After reading these reviews, I have no desire to contact them at all. Very disappointing, and I will be looking for a different service.

Disappointing Support

The support from the social media team was extremely unsatisfactory after a negative experience with a collection. I suggest thinking carefully before donating, as it may not meet your expectations, and concerns raised may not be acknowledged. Disposing of furniture through this service can be quite challenging. Consider alternative options for collection.

Delivery Care Issues

The staff in the shop were very kind. However, I paid a significant amount for a piece of furniture and an additional delivery fee, yet my item arrived damaged. The delivery process seemed careless, with no protection for the furniture during transit. As a paying customer, I expected a basic level of care. This was a disappointing experience for a product I had to pay for!

Frustrating Donation Experience

I attempted to donate two leather sofas, but the collection drivers refused to take them due to minor issues. I was surprised by how picky they were. One of the drivers mentioned their weight as a potential concern. This has been a complete waste of my time, and now I'm left with two sofas while a new one is arriving soon. I won’t be donating again.

Unpleasant Collection Experience

I was very disappointed with the collection service. The staff arrived with a negative attitude and began taking furniture without properly identifying items first. One member of the team was particularly aggressive, disregarding my hearing difficulties and becoming hostile. The collection was ultimately cancelled, and I felt insulted. I have since chosen to donate elsewhere.

Collection Issues

After scheduling a collection for two settees well in advance, the driver arrived, took photos, and then refused to collect them despite their good condition. If I had known this could happen, I would not have used this service.
