Review Time
I have been a member of Big Fish games since 2005 and have spent a lot of money with them over the course of those 22 years. The remake of their website is horrible. The previous site was so user friendly and easy to find new games that I want to try. Now, I can't find anything. I used to be able to see the top 100 games to try and find new games I might enjoy, but that is no longer an option. They used to have new games released every day, but I have seen there are days that are skipped. I used to be able to see what type of game it is from the new release screen, to identify the types of games I am interested in, but you have to select the game in order to find that out. This year is the first time ever I have gone to Google to search for other similar game sites because I have been so disappointed.
I got a new computer last November. The games on my The list of games was very incomplete and most even showed a Play Now and Buy Now. Someone suggested uninstalling the games and re-installing. I thought I was doing the right thing, but, now some of the games are just gone and the rest I have to repurchase. I have 4 out of 30+ games to play. Two months ago, I tried to buy another game and was told my password wasn't correct. I tried changing it but wasn't successful. I asked them to PLEASE call me because I am elderly. Then I got an e-mail last week about not using my rewards. I used that e-mail to contact them again. They sent me a thing to reset my password. All I want are my games back without having to buy them. Very poor Customer service. Also, going through 1000's of game titles to find the ones I paid for is not going to be fun. Are there other games companies?
BEWARE...I had about 46 credits cancelled as I did not wish to keep paying the membership every month. Especially during COVID when times have been tough anyway. I figured I had enough game credits to last a while so put my membership on hold. However BigFishGames want to continue to take money every month to keep the games credits I had not yet used, active. Credits I've already paid for that is. I placed the membership on hold for a few months only to have my game credits that I had not yet redeemed, cancelled on me. That is about $460US at $9.99 a credit. AU conversion much greater.Choose another game supplier that allows memberships to be placed on hold and still keep any purchases you have made.I have screen shots of my cancelled credits if you need proof.Theirs games are all variations of the same thing, hence I had accumulated so many credits. The actual variety is very limited but ok for the very young that don't need to relearn a new game every time.All the best to everyone in these time.Stay safe.
Why are Big Fish not showing new daily games anymore ? The ones for sale at £2.50 are games I'm either not interested in or games I already have. I have a free game coupon that I can't use because there's no new daily games to buy!!
I want my money back!I've played the demos for Spellarium 5 and Laruaville 9 and liked the games. After purchasing the full versions, these could not be activated. I've written a few emails of complaint to BigFishGames, only to be answered by a standard non-specific reply that, in essence, I should sort out the problem. I was also given a replacement coupon, which (surprise, surprise!) didn't help activating another new game, Laruaville 10.I'm not sure what are BigFishGames up to, but I was not expecting to be a victim of a day-light robbery like this.
Super customer service. I had a whim to play a PC game again which I bought 5 years ago and emailed them for the product key. Had a reply within a couple of hours (on a Sunday!) from "Roy in Seattle" giving me the key. Great to see this from a tech company.
I’ve just joined big fish. The game I’ve just purchased won’t activate, I keep getting errors and I go to get help and it’s useless. I’ve done everything it says, changed settings ect, still the same crap errors. I can’t seem to do anything more and there doesn’t seem to be any more help. Disappointed!!!!!
Okay, so I saw that due to the COVID pandemic they offered some free games. I wanted to register a new account but it did not allow me, it said I am not eligible (?!). I have multiple emails and I use one for the dodgier things and one for the clean ones. Because of this I tried if I had an account but forgot. Neither email gave me a reset email, so obviously the next step was contacting support. I've sent them a support message through their site and got an answer the same day. Nobody read my email, they just pasted some general template that was irrelevant to my issue, they even called me Mail (based on my email address!) while it was from a real person with signature, not an automated response. So I've sent a response to that, stating my name I've provided at the first time already and suggested that they actually read the emails they get. FOUR DAY LATER I got another pasted email stating that they are behind and nobody was able to read my email. And that I can have a courtesy coupon that HAS A TIMED EXPIRY. When I can't even log in to use it at all! So, if you ever have issues with anything, you won't be able to get support. AVOID THEM.
