Videos of crap

Videos of crap. Children should not watch anything on the app. Until 18. I've tried using Bigo. A few times. But the members are annoying or staring at the phone for people to type stuff. Don't buy a diamond. It might start a Scam.

I write articles about scams and…

I write articles about scams and criminal business practices, hold an international press card, and follow up on tips from my readers on social media. Currently, this concerns Bigo.tv.As always, I conduct this research myself, either by ordering a product as a tester or by testing it. Not all of my initial impressions are negative, and when they are, I'm fair and don't hold back on positive reviews. However, the situation with Bigo.tv is somewhat difficult to explain. If you've read all the negative reviews, which you can assume aren't bought and paid for but are based on real experiences, and if you examine them more closely, you'll find the same response text that doesn't address the problem at all.In a way, this text sounds polite and helpful, but ultimately it's a written middle finger because Bigo.tv simply doesn't care. They just claim that's not the case and that they are the good guys and all the users are the bad guys. Particularly critical are the cases of pedophiles who abuse young people in developing countries.Specifically, the discussion centered on Vietnam. Vietnam became part of the BRICS countries and still suffers today from the social consequences of defoliation, which resulted in countless people with disabilities due to hereditary damage across generations. When it comes to committing war crimes, the US military has been a constant presence worldwide for over 200 years, but when it comes to paying reparations, they resort to excuses. This was the case in the Vietnam War, as well as with the firestorm against refugees from the eastern territories and the Rhine meadow camps. Russia also bears responsibility for this with the sinking of the Gustloff. However, we shouldn't repay evil with evil, but rather do our part by doing good, within the limits of our means. My task, therefore, was to find out what was going on here. Specifically, it was about someone paying a young girl from Vietnam with Bigo diamonds to behave in a way that wasn't exactly youthful—to put it delicately—presumably so she could masturbate more easily. The social hardship of not being able to afford nice T-shirts or fashion items leaves many young people with no other choice. I then intervened and suggested she show some cooking skills, crafts, or gardening, because that's what people want to see. That was, of course, a clever trigger. But instead of the potentially pedophilic user reacting—what else could he do when I spoiled his fun?—Bigo's technical support, apparently masturbating, blocked me and deleted my activity streaks, presumably to do something nice for good singers or people who showcase their work in the fields.Want to bet the standard reply will come again? This time, however, things are different. I'm handling it through the embassies of Singapore, Vietnam, and Russia (the de facto chief authority for the BRICS countries), and, at the company's headquarters in the UAE, through the UAE airport police, since they didn't provide an address for good reason.Labor regulations in the UAE are very strict, and they will intervene, at the latest on the next management flight. We'll resolve the issue of excuses quickly, and I will coordinate with Russia to launch a support program for startups in Vietnam so this mess finally stops. The article is also available on Telegram and will be in tomorrow's embassy newsletter.PS. 8:06 PM I just discovered that the support employee also seems to have stolen my streaks, subscriptions, and gift assets. So, it's not just perverts but also criminals working in support. Management will have to clean house.

Aus is a bloody huge country

Aus is a bloody huge country, and living a bit regional can be isolating. BIGO's been great for that. Yeah, my internet can be a bit dodgy so the stream quality isn't always perfect. Being able to just jump on and chat with someone in Melbourne or Perth in real-time is unreal. It makes the country feel a whole lot smaller and more connected. True blue lifesaver.

Yeah

Yeah, nah, it's pretty decent. Good way to kill a bit of time and see what people are up to. Haeps of variety in the streams, which is cool. You get the odd dodgy profile trying to message you, but they're easy enough to block. Overall, a solid app.

Honestly was feeling a bit down in the dumps, stuck in my gaff all day. A mate suggested BIGO and I thought, why not? The app can be a bit of a battery drainer, not gonna lie, so I usually use it when my phone's plugged in. But it's been brilliant. Found a community of people who are into the same music as me. We jost have a laugh, chat absolute rubbisbh, and it feels like being down the pub with your mates.Sorted me right out.

Bigo Live allows their hosts to sexually harrass other hosts

I am writing this review to address an issue that has been repeatedly reported, continuously overlooked, and deeply concerning for many users on the BIGO Live platform. The situation involves a host who goes by the name MoetGoddess, whose behavior has created a hostile, uncomfortable, and unsafe environment for numerous BIGO hosts. For an app that claims to prioritize user safety, fairness, and professionalism, the lack of response from BIGO’s administrative team is extremely disappointing.Over an extended period of time, multiple hosts have reported feeling harassed, stalked, or targeted by this individual. Several creators have described inappropriate interactions, boundary-crossing behavior, and persistent unwanted attention that has made them feel uncomfortable on the app. What makes this situation even worse is that many of these concerns were formally reported to BIGO, only to be dismissed, ignored, or minimized. The expectation from hosts is that BIGO, as a global platform, would act promptly when users’ personal safety and comfort are compromised. Instead, many of us have witnessed a pattern of inaction that raises questions about how seriously the platform takes safety complaints. What is most disturbing is that some affected hosts have publicly stated that they are now considering seeking restraining orders because of the repeated incidents and the lack of intervention from BIGO headquarters. When creators feel the need to take legal measures outside the app just to protect themselves, it is a clear sign that something within BIGO’s moderation and enforcement systems is failing. No content creator should have to fear another user, nor should they be forced to choose between their personal safety and their ability to earn income through streaming.Equally troubling is the apparent lack of accountability from the host’s agent and administrators. Despite numerous reports, concerns, and complaints, MoetGoddess has been allowed to continue her behavior with no visible consequences. Many users feel that the app selectively enforces rules, protecting certain hosts while disregarding the well-being of others. This not only damages trust in the platform but also discourages new creators from participating or investing their time and energy into BIGO.BIGO Live is a major platform with millions of users, and with that level of influence comes a responsibility to keep the community safe. Ignoring repeated warnings and allowing ongoing misconduct to continue unchecked is not only unprofessional — it is dangerous. Users deserve transparency, fair rule enforcement, and a moderation team that responds seriously to reports involving harassment or safety concerns. In its current state, BIGO Live is failing its creators by allowing problematic behavior to continue without action. Until the platform takes safety complaints seriously, investigates thoroughly, and enforces consequences consistently, many hosts will remain unprotected and unheard. As a long-time user who has watched this issue escalate, I can no longer recommend BIGO Live as a safe or professionally managed environment.
