Where to start?!?! I ordered a key and the cut by photo service also. After placing the order I read that you need at least one key for the one they make you to be able to be programmed to your vehicle. I sent them an e-mail and asked if their key would work without having another key. They replied that it would not and that I would need a dealer to get it to work. I immediately replied and asked them to cancel the order. They replied to me that I couldn't cancel the order because it has already shipped. I replied to them and asked how that was possible since I didn't submit any pictures for them to cut the key. They said they used the pictures from last time I ordered from them.... That was more than a year ago and FOR A DIFFERENT CAR! I don't even have that car anymore. So I replied to them and said they need to refund my money cause they should have never even sent anything since I didn't give them the pictures for the key. They admitted that I was right but they would not refund my money until I sent the key back. That's ridiculous since they should've never sent it. They said I'd have to wait for the key to arrive and write "return to sender" on the package to send it back. The key arrived quickly via FedEx. I contacted FedEx and asked them to pick the package up. They informed me that the company would have to provide me with a shipping label... writing "return to sender" on the package won't work. So I contacted these idiots (Tom's Key Company) again and told them what FedEx told me. So they sent me a shipping label but it was for USPS. So I had to waste my time and money driving to the post office to ship out a package that they should have never sent! I sent the package then e-mailed them to ask them for the refund. They sent the refund but didn't give me back the shipping or taxes! WTF is wrong with these people. I e-mailed them again and asked why they did this. They said they can't refund the shipping since they shipped me a key. That's ridiculous since they shouldn't have shipped anything. They also said they already paid the taxes to the state and that's why they couldn't refund the tax money. I sent them yet another e-mail and told them this was not ok and explained why. They did then refund all of my money. Finally I'm done with these idiots. Don't buy from them. I called a local locksmith and they came to my house and cut and programmed a key the next day. So much easier...

Amazing experience! I ended up just buying a key fob, they sent me an email before shilling it to let me know that if I didn’t have a programmer that it would not program. I’m glad they did that because I had no idea. I thought as soon as I bought it it would automatically be programmed. lol but I guess that wouldn’t make sense due to they’re probably 1 million cars with the same make and model as mine. Anyways I got the right order finally thanks to them! And it shot here pretty fast. I was able to program it with in minutes. I definitely want to buy a new one for back ups.

Complete disappointment with the product and service

The product completely failed to work, and all they did was keep suggesting part replacements, wasting my time after a month of back and forth. My vehicle is in excellent working order, and my current key fob functions well; it just needs a replacement due to wear. The fobs do not respond with any codes entered, and this has turned into a frustrating experience, resulting in countless hours spent trying to program this ineffective product.

Don’t buy for this Company

This Company is USELESS IF THERE IS A PROBLEM THERE IS NO TECH SUPPORT YOU TALK TO AN AI BOT THAT DOESN’T forward info about problem no one has return my call from TOMS KEY COMPANY!!!!! Also the APP “Pair My Key” tech support is take battery cable off for 10 seconds and try again, which I did three times then they told me that TOMS Key Company is at fault by sending me bad items. Just want to return everything since it doesn’t work without paying 15 dollars to return my whole order this has been going on for over 2 working days with no return calls!!!!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!

Top Notch Customer Service

Ran into an issue with my key and customer support was quick to resolve the issue. They emailed actual helpful responses instead of canned emails that don't address your concern. Its obvious they have real people responding to inquiries and I'm very thankful.

Key Fob is Great!

The key fob was correct for my vehicle, 2007 Tundra SR5. Tom's answered my questions and were very helpful. I elected to have Pop-A-Lock do the fob programming. Works like a champ!

Beware of transponder key

After weeks of trying to get a key that will program and start my 2018 Tahoe , they continue to give me the run around as to why it will not work with my vehicle, they ask for videos, like I can’t figure out how to make it work , bottom line is they can’t provide the product they state will work, now they expect me to pay for their lack of knowledge, having to dispute my charge at this time , Very disappointing

I bought a Toyota truck recently and it had only one key fob. I called the local dealer and they quoted me about $400 to provide a second key. So I called a local mobile automotive locksmith and was quoted over $500 for a single key fob. I found Tom's Key Company on the internet. I was able to have my key reproduced using a photograph of my existing key sent via email. The key required some programming too. Toms sent me the already laser cut key, the programming device and easy, very specific instructions on how to do the programming. I followed tbe instructions and it worked perfectly. I saved about 80% over dealer and locksmith quotes. Check out Tom's Key Company!
