The Black Board training system has made it so easy to train both foot and ankle strength. I suffered from plantar fasciitis and had never fully recovered from an ankle sprain many years ago. With the implementation of exercises on the Black Board and using the amazing tools that come with the Pro Bundle I was able to systematically bring my feet and ankle strength mobility and awareness to levels that I had never experienced. 3 months of consistent training to strengthen and mobilize my feet and ankles has brought me back to a confident walker and surprisingly a confident runner with no more foot pain and no more ankle instability. I plan to continue to strengthen my feet and ankles using the Black Board training System

The balance board and wedge are now part of my one hour weight, balance and stretch training which I do every second morning. I use the balance board on a carpet which makes it easier to balance. An adaption for a 77 year old!
I highly recommend Blackboard if you are serious about improving your foot strength and mobility!Power, mobility and stability starts at your feet. I wore orthotics for 50 years, these devices essentially turn off the muscles of the feet. At an older age I really needed to improve my fitness, and going to the gym to pump iron is good, but it is super important not to overlook the feet since they are essentially our root to the ground. So I tossed my orthotics, and for several years I did a plethora of foot exercises to strengthen my feet (there's no shortage of exercise)...for about 30 minutes a day. But it wasn't until I purchased the Blackboard and accompanying slant board that my foot strength really took off.I use the Blackboard daily. I have measured improvements in balance and performance (can stand unassisted 1-2 minutes barefoot performing various movements (like hip hinges, leg extensions, etc.) or walk 30km in barefoot shoes, have fewer foot/knee aches, and confidence that I'll be able to move better in my greying years. Blackboard took me to a new level of fitness.The accompanying training materials are quite helpful as well.Get a Blackboard, it's a super great investment in your health.
I bought the Basic package and it arrived shortly after the order confirmation - expectations met!I tried it out once while my ankle problems have already been gone - easy to apply, expectations met!Due to the fact not using it anymore, i wanted to send it back - not hearing back for two days on my e-mail led me picking up the phone: quick help, nice chat - expectations met!Now refund hopefully coming in soon as well
A well built tool, but too fiddly and time consuming for me to switch between different modes when I had similar tools already. The problems started when trying to return for a refund. Given an address without an RMA. Royal Mail / DHL eventually sent my package back to me as the recipient (Gregor) never provided the requested information to customs.I’ve tried again, this time by UPS and once again the recipient has been contacted but no response (I have no idea why customs are contacting the recipient - all paperwork was correctly completed by myself).At the moment, I’ve spend 30% of the item value on shipping the return, have noproduct and no refund.
The instructions and quality of the product are exception. This is especially important for the blackboard, as it needs to be stable and sturdy enough to handle your weight, yet it has to be able to twist at the center point. Excellent product and it makes a difference in my “bottom-up” training ethos
