A Wonderful First Experience with Horse Adoption

Having never adopted a horse before, my experience with the service has made me eager to do it again! The entire process was grounded in practicality and a thoughtful equine-focused approach. We adopted a 2-year-old filly who had not been handled prior to her arrival, but thanks to their compassionate and careful training methods based on positive reinforcement, she has made great progress in adapting to human life. I was truly impressed by the process, the training techniques, and their commitment to using the latest scientific methods for weaning and training. I can't recommend them highly enough!

CAUTION ... NOT A CHARITY ANYMORE

The organization in Victoria used to be a great charity, but now it feels like a profit-driven machine with no compassion. They charge £20 just to speak with someone on the phone. No matter how dire your financial situation, they seem more willing to let your pet suffer than to offer help for free. Their fees are barely lower than those at a vet. When I expressed my concerns to the veterinarian, she was rude and essentially told me to go elsewhere for private care. They won't even let you pay in installments. It's disgraceful to call this a charity; it's strictly a money-making venture.

Once a Kind Charity, Now Profit-Focused

The organization in Victoria was once a remarkable charity, but it has changed into a profit-driven entity devoid of compassion. They charge £20 just for a phone consultation. Even if you are facing financial difficulties, they seem more inclined to let your pet suffer than to assist without a fee. Their prices are only slightly lower than those at a typical veterinary clinic. When I raised my concerns with the veterinarian, she was rude, suggesting I seek private care instead. They don’t even allow payment in installments. It’s shocking to label this as a charity; it operates purely as a business.

Misleading Advisor – NOT A CHARITY ORGANIZATION, BUT A SCAM

This is supposed to be an animal charity that collects numerous donations, yet they allow my cat to suffer because they prioritize profit. I've already paid them twice for the same issue. I'm unable to afford the fee right now due to financial constraints, yet I need medication for my cat, which they also charge for. This organization should be ashamed to call themselves a charity; it feels like a scam focused solely on how much money they can acquire, with no regard for animal welfare.

An Outstanding Experience

We can’t say enough good things about the organization in Bromsgrove and the assistance we received in adopting our kitten, Remy. The whole adoption process was conducted in a friendly, welcoming, and professional way. The representatives were incredibly helpful in answering our questions and ensuring we were the right fit for Remy. On the rehoming day, they made us feel comfortable and guided us expertly. It’s evident that the team truly cares about the animals. We are thrilled with our experience and grateful to the team for bringing Remy into our lives!

An Amazing Experience

I had a delightful experience applying to adopt a pony. The representative was incredibly helpful and responded quickly to all my emails, making the process smooth and efficient. All phone calls and home visit appointments were arranged promptly and adhered to, allowing me to visit the pony as well. I now have little Juliet with me, and she is a wonderful pony, gaining confidence every day. I would wholeheartedly recommend adopting a horse or pony. It was a fantastic experience that continues to be enjoyable. ☺️

Attempted to Support a Charity, but Disappointed

I tried to do the right thing by ordering from a charity rather than large companies. My order was delivered to the wrong address and just left outside. When I called them, I was informed that one item was out of stock, so I requested a full refund. I was told it would take 14 working days. 14 working days for a PayPal transaction! This means I won’t get my money back until after Christmas, which is frustrating. Lesson learned: stick to larger companies. I won't be ordering from this organization again, which is unfortunate. A Supportive Experience Amid Challenges

I recently reached out for help with rehoming my dog. Although I ultimately decided against it, I want to extend my gratitude to the representatives for their kindness and support throughout the process. The initial call was tough, but their compassion made it easier. During the assessment, they were lovely and clearly care deeply about their work. Even after I chose not to rehome, they ensured I knew about available support for dog food or other needs. It was a challenging situation, but they made it as positive as possible. I also appreciate the team behind the scenes for their thoughtful approach. The service was caring and professional. Thank you!

Simply Excellent Service

The team at Hertfordshire provided outstanding assistance in helping us adopt our new family member, a three-legged tabby cat named Rumi. They took excellent care of her and shared as much information as possible about her background. The rehoming center is inviting and has a wonderful shop, with staff who are friendly and dedicated to the animals.

Rehomed a Lovely Cat

I successfully rehomed a lovely cat. Thank you for making the process smooth and for being so warm and welcoming with a quick turnaround. A photo of me with my adopted cat was shared on social media (with my consent). However, the previous owner was also tracking this and posted information about the cat that was important but not shared with me in advance. The cat had a different name, had run away from home eight months ago, and had moved in with a male neighbor, enjoying being out all night. Given the challenges in this cat's short life, I hope important details like 'cat ran away from home' will be communicated sooner in the future. Cheers!
