Shambles of a company, used to be the only people I would order from but NEVER AGAIN .
Now 5 days past the very latest delivery date for the heating oil I ordered, and about to run out…..
Given one excuse after another and refused to put me through to a Manager/ Supervisor, guy I spoke to could not care less.
Mywife has brittle asthma which can be life threatening so can not afford to have a cold house!
Don’t choose this lot, they are certainly not the company they used to be….AVOID,AVOID,AVOID…….
Great correspondence from the company, kept me informed throughout. I ordered for my 88yr old dad, so very important with the cold weather and his age, that we got this delivery on time. And it arrived before the estimated delivery date, so very happy. I will definitely order for him again. Thank-you Boiler Juice for your excellent service.
Easy to get a quote and place an order....BUT if you all you want is a quote for the time being, you should expect multiple whiny e-mails saying "We noticed you didn't place an order with us", "Let us know why you didn't order." and now they have started CALLING to chase you in the middle of the day at work. It's a domestic oil top-up, for heaven's sake, not a major refinery deal. This has tipped from "caring about following up with customers" to just obnoxious sales chasing - I'm out.
Used them for few years but gradually declined and as problems arose was difficult to talk to anyone. Final straw was Christmas partner just xame home from major surgery and was promised oil 2 weeks before Christmas. It never arrived and many calls it became pointless. We had no oil over Xmas and new year. They offered us a £5 voucher as compensation...days it all...STAY AWAY
Took ages to deliver - what really made me fed up to the back teeth was they delivered to my next door neighbour 5 days before they delivered to me and the neighbour ordered 4 days AFTER I ordered mine! I told them the oil had run out and that I was a vulnerable person but they weren’t interested
I am sorry to say that from my experience I cannot recommend Boiler Juice. Their service has been appalling. My partner ordered our oil which was supposed to be guaranteed to arrive within 10 days. The final day arrived and no oil. We had no explanation or apology and having chased were given a new delivery date… no oil. We have subsequently had 3 more dates offered and no oil. We ran out of oil on day 10 and have now had no heating for over 2 weeks. We were told last week our case had been escalated and were hoping then for a speedy resolution and some heating, but no. My partner has rung on a daily basis with no explanation for the delay or a guarantee regarding delivery. We have been told someone will call back and they haven’t and the latest is before they can find a new oil provider they have to cancel the order with the previous company. Why that wasn’t actioned last week when we were informed that they had escalated the matter and were looking to source from elsewhere I cannot fathom! So having paid for a service after 4 weeks no oil, no end to the delay and unfortunately not only the incredibly poor service but the cold is getting to us.
This service is a fantastic option for ordering oil deliveries at a great price for the quantity purchased. Additionally, the delivery was made ahead of the latest expected date, and I received a prompt notification the day before, allowing me to prepare a clear path to the oil tank and ensure the dogs were secured.
I waited two weeks for my delivery. They informed me at 5:30 PM that my oil would arrive the following day. I quickly called back to let them know I would be unavailable in the morning, but their support team had closed at 5:15 PM. They tried to deliver when I wasn't home and then charged me £40 while canceling my order. Terrible customer service - I wouldn't recommend using them.
The ordering process was straightforward, and I received an email the day prior to inform me about the delivery scheduled for the next day. Although the full amount couldn't be processed, the refund was handled within a few days. The delivery person was friendly and called five minutes before arriving to let us know he was on his way. I will definitely use this service again.
