I've been a satisfied user for quite some time and was disappointed to hear about the liquidation since the product is outstanding. My keypad recently malfunctioned, leaving me feeling lost without it. The new company kept me updated on stock availability. They aren't legally obligated to maintain the app or existing units, but they are making an effort. Negative reviews could jeopardize this effort and leave us without functioning products, so please consider your words carefully. The product itself is robust, and I hope solutions will be implemented for standalone functionality.
I purchased my item last year and was reasonably satisfied until this morning. Out of the blue, I received an email stating that due to the company's bankruptcy, all contracts and support are nullified. To continue using the product, I must pay an additional fee on top of what I already spent. As soon as I received the email, the app was blocked, and my once smart device is now just a standard one that only opens with a physical key. I find this practice unacceptable and bordering on extortion. Many of us have filed complaints with consumer protection agencies. I do not recommend this product.
