I've been subscribed to the service for a while and even made a purchase, but I decided to unsubscribe as I stopped reading their emails. Unfortunately, like many tech-savvy businesses, they seem to have errors with the unsubscribe process. The option to unsubscribe caused my browser to crash entirely, which is quite frustrating.
I can leave reviews on various platforms without receiving unsolicited spam emails. It's intriguing, but it makes sense since that platform's model is based on reviews. This service, however, seems to focus on spam and wasting people's time, which is why I rate it one star.
The novella is a compelling read. The protagonist awakens injured, with little memory of how he got there, and seeks help. He encounters another character, leading to an instant attraction and a developing love story. The setting is uniquely otherworldly, with no specific time or place, enhancing the narrative's intrigue. The characters are well-described, and the author skillfully crafts engaging scenes. This was my first experience with this author, and I look forward to exploring more of her work. This review is based on an advance copy, but my opinion remains unbiased.
In this gripping tale, readers are treated to two homicides (plus an attempted one) within the same narrative. The story is fast-paced with well-developed characters. The plot raises questions beyond just 'who did it?'—it also explores when, how, and why. The complexity keeps readers engaged until a clever conclusion in the final chapters. A thoroughly enjoyable read!
