We booked a Northern Lights tour for Yesterday night and you told that the aurora had to be visible to the naked eye, otherwise It would have been refunded. Nothing was visible during the 8 hour tour. Santiago, the guide, repeatedly said that It would have been better and that we would have had a chance and “it’s mother of nature,” which contradicts advertising a “guaranteed” experience. After the tour, a long-exposure camera photo was used to claim success, even though the lights were not visible in real life.
This Is very unfair and we want tò be refunded.

My refund request was refused and I was offered only a discount for a future tour. I escalated the issue and provided evidence, and my chargeback was approved, resulting in a refund. Customers should be very careful with how “guarantee” is defined here.
We booked the trip to Rissitunturi and it was truly amazing. The weather was good, which made it even better. We really reccomend this experience especially with our guide Juan ;)
We had an amazing northern lights tour with book lapland! Everything was organized, the guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and we felt well taken care of throughout the evening. Seeing the Northern Lights was truly magical!! Highly recommended!!!
The guides were safe, punctual, and provided a wealth of information. They made sure we were well taken care of and offered us hot drinks to warm up after the chilly weather. My only suggestion is to improve the organization of photo opportunities, as our large group made it a bit chaotic without any queues. However, we did get to see the Northern Lights, and the photographers were skilled at capturing great moments. Thank you, Tomas!
The guides were safe, well-timed, and very informative. They took great care of us and provided hot drinks in the cold weather. This tour was marketed as a small group experience, but we ended up on multiple large buses filled to capacity. This was misleading. The organization and guiding were extremely poor, with no clear communication. The only Northern Lights activity was spotted by passengers on the way back, not by the guides. Snacks were not provided as promised and had to be requested midway through the trip. The driver was seen watching a mobile device while driving in icy conditions, which was alarming. The photography service was misrepresented; photos were unclear and did not reflect reality. Overall, this experience was disappointing, poorly organized, and unsafe. I recommend choosing a reputable tour instead.
