They cancelled an order with 3 special edition books(Trilogy), with no notice. They should have shipped 2 months ago, so I checked the order and it was just cancelled. I know a friend who ordered from this website and she never recieved her large shipment either, even though it said it was delivered. Wont be ordering from them again

Highly unreliable for online orders.

This service is extremely inconsistent with online orders, even for pre-orders. If you inquire about your order more than once, they may cancel it and claim it's out of stock. However, this was a pre-order, which means I reserved the item before it was officially released. It's baffling how it can be out of stock when my order was placed before it was even available.

Frustrating Experience with Order Issues

I placed an order for books using my gift card along with a small balance on my credit card. When the gift card didn’t apply to the final payment, I called right away, but they couldn’t fix the issue or cancel the order, saying it was too soon (only 45 minutes after placing it). They mentioned using a third party and that they couldn’t access the system. I was advised to log in the next day to chat with their representatives for cancellation. Instead, I contacted my credit card company to stop the payment. I didn’t want to waste time trying to get help from their customer service. I regret even taking the time to write this, but I hope it helps someone else.

Ordered books with a gift card but faced issues

I ordered some books using my gift card along with a small credit card balance. Website performance is frustrating

The website is extremely slow and unresponsive, often crashing and preventing me from checking out. Additionally, it doesn’t support Apple Pay, making the purchasing process very challenging. It’s hard to believe that they don’t offer Apple Pay in 2025. I also tried using PayPal, but the checkout times out and crashes. I think I’ll purchase my books from other sites instead.

Constant emails are overwhelming

It’s nearly impossible to unsubscribe from their email list. I receive 10-20 emails each week, which is unbearable. Their unsubscribe feature doesn’t work, and I’m not even a member.

Avoid ordering from this service

I advise against ordering from them. I placed an order for a book and didn’t receive any updates for over a month. When I contacted customer service, one representative told me I would get a refund, but another said she wouldn’t allow it. The communication was inconsistent, and the service was terrible.

Order canceled without notice

I pre-ordered a book in June 2025, expecting it to arrive by mid-September for my daughter's birthday. When I followed up, I was informed that the warehouse had run out of the book, and my order was canceled without any warning. This was too late for my daughter's birthday.

Suspicious practices from the company

They insisted on verifying my order through my credit card while trying to sell me a questionable promotion. They wouldn’t look up my order by the order number, and when I declined to provide my credit card, they hung up. The entire company feels like a scam.

Long wait for updates on my order

It took weeks to receive any update on a book I ordered. I wish their website had indicated that the book was out of stock or would take weeks to ship, as I needed it for a group with a set date. After my original review, their customer service leadership reached out, which I appreciated. However, I still haven’t received the book, and it’s been over a month since my order. I got a confirmation it was shipping on 9/9, but as of 9/23, it still hasn’t arrived. I cannot recommend purchasing from this business due to their unreliability.
