Used to be really good but no longer worth it. Changed to second class postage which makes games take ages to arrive. When you're paying monthly you want speed. 2 out of my last 3 games also didnt work. cancelled.

Been with Boomerang for a couple of…

Been with Boomerang for a couple of years now, they were fantastic at the start! Always sent new games after I returned the old one. However in the last 6 months they have went downhill big time! Had maybe 3 new games in 6 months despite having sent games back, I have the subscription where you can rent 2 games at a time the last game I was sent out was the 1st of December, I still a have spot open for a free game and nothing has been send out. I’ve got games that are short wait on my list and still nothing. It’s honestly not worst the money anymore.

never send games that are new releases even though you pay the top price.always have to contact them to get one dispatched when waiting over the time frame.

Used to be great, now extremely dissapointing

I've been using Boomerang for years (since 2013) and they were fantastic value for money. For the last 12-18 months, I've noticed it's gone really downhill. I have just shy of 30 games in my list right now (after trimming a lot out), from old ones to new recent releases. They are all shown as red and there's around 10-15 which have been in my list for well over 3 years and I've never once seen them not on red.IMO boomerang are just riding out this last generation eking out the last bit of profit from the service, just look at the website, (I don't remember the last time I saw a PHP website) it's barely hanging together and hasn't been updated ..ever? LoveFilms gaming rental service has QOL features that Boomerang refuse to implement. It works I suppose which is only what you really need.They really need to cull all the crap from their platform, drop all the DS, WII, PS3 games from their catalogue at minimum, clean the website up at bit and remove the games that they have ZERO stock of instead of leaving them as a red wait time, we know what you're doing (padding out your library) and it's just lying to the customer. Stop buying copies of just utter crap titles that you know no one is renting.. Inspector waffles, Rooftops and alleys, Golden tee arcade classics.. just come on and be real. These are all red wait time btw...It is now more financially viable to buy the games I want, and resell them on ebay. I haven't had a game I wanted since October and that was an old one. Once my billing period expires, It will be the end of my use of boomerang, and that's a real shame.

What other say it's true

What other say it's true. They claim that the game is dispatched when actually it hasn't. They are just saving time charging you without actually provide a service. When you finally complain about 7-10 days of waiting, they blaim Royal Mail, and finally the game magically arrives after a couple of days. It has happened to me 3 times. As digital games will soon be the only way, they will be off the market, so everybody loose, not only us

I have saved £18000 on games so far with Boomerang!

I have been with them for years and always had great service. I have a had issues where royal mail where losing games in the post and these issues were swiftly resolved and in very professional manner. Thank you Toby

Not as good as they used to be

Been a member for quite a while and even recommended to a friend who joined. Used to be not so bad however last 2 times for a new release game I have not been sent in time for release date and have had to wait for more stock. I have always been signed up to priority for 2 games. I send my games back in time for release however when on their chat they seem to think over a week is not enough time. I assume when they get new customers, they make them more of a priority to try save good service but what about loyal customers? To be honest I will give them one more try. There is a couple of new releases over the next week so if that fails will just cancel the membership as is pretty useless.
