Buying a new house is always stressful, and a happy outcome in many ways depends on the people you work with along the way. Tai and Amanda at Shanly were the best we could hope for as first time buyers. Not only diligent, but so kind. We always felt supported, even through bumps along the way, and we're now very happy with the property. The flat itself and the building are just lovely, everything is detailed to high standards and we've felt we made the right decision putting our trust in Shanly.
⭐☆☆☆☆ Utter Disappointment – No Heating and Poor Communication. Purchasing a home from the company has been one of my biggest regrets. We were left without heating in the dead of winter, amidst snow and freezing temperatures, in a property that cost over £600,000. There were no clear updates or meaningful communication, and it felt like no one knew what was happening or was managing the situation effectively. We were completely left in the dark with no proactive engagement or urgency to resolve the issue. For a so-called premium development, the aftercare and crisis management have been shockingly poor. When spending this amount of money, basic services like heating should function, and when they don’t, transparency and action are expected. Instead, we faced silence, confusion, and a total lack of accountability. This experience highlighted a serious failure in aftercare and respect for homeowners. I would strongly caution anyone thinking about buying from the company to reconsider.
My spouse and I had a very enjoyable experience at the development site, visiting multiple times. The homes were clearly constructed to a high standard and were beautifully showcased, particularly the show home which was breathtaking. The main sales consultant was exceptionally knowledgeable and genuinely kind, going out of their way to ensure we felt at ease. Although we are not proceeding with a purchase at this moment, we would definitely consider buying from the company in the future.

What I appreciated most was that they allowed us the space and time to explore the property without hovering. We returned for a second visit, and this time, the representative let us in and returned to the marketing suite. Afterward, they explained the purchase process to us. The property is stunning, well-designed, and equipped with high-quality fixtures. We were so impressed that upon returning home, we were eager to make an offer and reserve our new home. I highly recommend considering this company.

Just a quick question: what is the purpose of having a site manager if they are unaware of what is happening on-site? Surely, common sense should dictate that homeowners are informed about work near their property instead of being told to contact customer service with vague excuses.
