I have rented through Bristol Residential Lettings since June 2025, and have just moved into another property of theirs. Everything, from the tenant-swap process and placing the deposit, to checking out and returning the deposit, has been totally smooth and professional (thank you very much to our Property Manager, Andy from the Southville office). Any concerns we had were responded to and resolved very quickly, and the contractors they used were also always friendly. This is such a contrast to other agents in Bristol that I have used before, who were impossible to get hold of and persistently tried to take advantage because I was a young person. In short, I’d recommend Bristol Residential Lettings to anyone looking to rent in Bristol!

Amy Garrod was such a help recently. Out of the blue, we had a problem with a previously exemplary tenant. On vacating the first floor flat, the tenant’s removal firm badly damaged the carpet over a series of steps on the staircase. The removals company declined responsibility. As the damage occurred in the common parts, not the flat itself, the damage was not covered by the tenant’s deposit. Amy's gentle diplomacy meant that the tenant - eventually - acknowledged responsibility and agreed to pay. Amy then liaised with a carpet fitter to ensure the job was done. As I am no longer living in Bristol, I was very grateful for Amy's quiet efficiency in dealing with these matters.
As a tennant for over 4 years, we had Andy Peters as the property manager and he was fantastic! Great communication, will go out of his way to help, and professional at all times. He is also genuinely a nice person. He even looked after my parcel after I had left the property. Would highly recommend!
I rented from Bristol Residential for three years. My property manager, Amy G, was always responsive and quick to address maintenance concerns. I left the UK before the official end of my lease, Amy was very helpful in settling things upon the lease ending. Will definitely prioritise working with them if I have future housing needs.
